Mark D. Szuchman is a professor of Latin American history and chair of the Department of History at Florida International University. The managing editor of Hispanic American Historical Review, he is the author of Order, Family, and Community in Buenos Aires, 1810-1860 and Mobility and Integration in Urban Argentina: Cordoba in the Liberal Era.
