Around the World in 60 Seconds audiobook

Nas has a new fan. I have not seen his videos, but I plan to change that as soon as I have a minute. I'm envious of his adventures and look forward to sharing them online.

I accidentally ran into Nas Daily's videos on Facebook some years ago, when Nas began his 1000 day quest around the world. His videos are fun, interesting and inspiring. He presented almost a whole world and its people challenging many missconceptions. When me and my wife (who is very keen on Nas videos as well) have seen that he will launch a book with his adventures, we said - how cool is that, we ordered it immediately.The book is well structured into several chapters presenting Nas's travels and thoughts about the places and people he and his companions have visited. A very enjoyable and interesting read. I liked also the overall aspect of the book, the graphics, photos. A beautiful and useful window into the World and its diversity.

The power and beauty of people. The good, the bad and everything in between. Celebration of diversity among people around the world in little tidbits of stories.

Prepare yourself for travel envy and a dawning realisation that, despite what the news tells us, humanity is awesome!

Truly a remarkable and inspirational book! I devoured it in a couple of hrs.

There aren’t many reviews on this book here so I thought I’d add one! Nuseir (Nas) has intrigued me since day 1 of seeing his content on Facebook. Seeing all of his stories and videos turned into a book was a real treat! It’s an easy read and you can hear his voice in every word. He definitely keeps it genuine with full transparency and I loved that about this book. Definitely worth the quick read!

From getting a Harvard degree to leaving his high paid job for making videos and to travel the world – Nuseir Yassin is a character who’s inspiring millions of people throughout the world. And after reading his book “Around the World in 60 Seconds” I am even more inspired to find the purpose of my life. Without any doubt this book is a gem. Although most of the stories are from his videos but you can know about a bit more details of those stories. Some of the stories blew my mind and changed my perspective about life. What I knew that in India there are a lot of slums. But the thing I did not know that the people of Dharavi – the largest slum in Asia, is generating up to $1 billion a year! I was amazed after reading about the kindness of people of Newfoundland and Philippines. The unimaginable forgiveness of the people of Rwanda – who were able forgive the killers of their family members. The story of two soldiers trying to kill one another in battlefield to becoming friends after many years – resembles why we should fight for peace instead of war. Learning about Selective Empathy to Mountain Test – the book has it all.“Around the World in 60 Seconds” is more than a typical travel book. It’s a book about people, places and their uniqueness. It will surely motive readers and inspire to explore and see the world from a different point of view. Highly recommended. “That’s one minute, see you tomorrow.”

I LOVED this book! Having never seen a Nas Daily video, I wasn't sure what to expect. This humanitarian is a fascinating individual who did his job and more by giving us a glimpse into many cultures that we may never see ourselves and the stereotypes that surround those cultures. I also loved his raw honesty. He admitted to having his own sterotypes but how we all need to look past those to see the real people involved. His reflections at the end were moving as well. I loved the Nas Stories, little snippets of individuals who made a difference in their country. In a day and age when there is so much negativity and hate, it was good to see positive stories about people who rise above their circumstances. I feel like I can't adequately describe how wonderful this book really is; you'll just have to experience it yourself! I could go on but I'll just close with I recommend this book wholeheartedly. There are wonderful photos to go with the encounters. Enjoy.

I heard about Nas on social media (though, to be fair, I do not follow him) and checked out this book to live vicariously through someone who has actually got to travel - we are deep into COVID19 right now. This is more than a travelogue. This book looks at the people that makes all of those places

I have been following Nas Daily for quite some time now and really enjoy his videos! I was so sad when he posted his 1000th day so when I found out about this book, I was excited! The photos are beautiful and I could play some of his videos in my head when reading through. This book shows Nas’s experiences and thoughts of his journey, humanity, and history. However, Nas is not a historian and while each place is more than a few pages of his book, he still captured his experiences beautifully. Is it high quality literature? Not exactly, but I did enjoy reading through and hearing Nas’s voice on each page. It’s more of a savory book where you have to stop from time to time to reflect and think. Overall, fun read.

Traveling is beyond that passport stamp! It’s beyond being able to cover each and every country on the globe!Due to his Israeli passport, Nas cannot travel to each and every country. But he has 0 regrets, he has made the most out of places he’s allowed to visit and he has also made friends even in countries which he’s not allowed to visit!This book gives a whole new perspective on traveling - meeting people, hearing their stories and taking back a life lesson! I loved this book, I feel like it has taught me more about our world than school or the news would ever teach me. Nas is such a well rounded, lovely person who engulfs himself within the culture of whatever country he visits and in turn teaches us valuable life lessons about humanity. He has shown us that there is still good people and hope within humanity even when the news and other media’s portray our world in a hopeless light. He has made me want to venture outside UK boarders and see what the world has to offer myself. This is definitely a book I will be coming back to and I recommend to anyone who wants to find out what our world has to offer.

I really loved hearing about Nas' journey from disgruntled office worker to global vagabonder, though I'll be honest in admitting that the primary emotion this book aroused was jealousy! I'm so envious, not because I don't think Nas' lifestyle is unattainable, but precisely because it IS attainable! He just stuffed a drone in his backpack and took off - his fame came later. He clearly didn't set out to see the world just for the 60 second videos - he did it because he loves people!And now I love him!

What can you learn in a 60 seconds? If you have seen one of Nas Daily videos, a lot. For 1,000 days Nusrir Yassin traveled the world and made videos of 60 seconds for each day on the road then posted them to Facebook. This book goes a little deeper into the 1,000 days, with his story and some behind the scenes looking at some of the more interesting places he visited during his journey.

I found this book at the dollar store!! I read it immediately and loved it. Went back to buy copies for some friends and they didn't have any left. I love reading and experiencing different cultures. The author did a great job going off the beaten path and not viewing each country from a tourist perspective.

I stumbled on Nas Daily maybe halfway through his journey and I wasn’t regular in watching the videos by any means, but they were always interesting and well done. I really enjoyed this book that covered some of his highlights from his travels and also his spotlights on people he met and his moments about realizations that he made.
