Charlie Plays Ball audiobook

Based on her life living on a ranch, Drummond has written a book for youthful readers about a dog's life on the ranch with an active family. It is well illustrated iin color that should help hod a child's interest.

Life on a ranch is hard work. Everyone has a job, and it's Charlies job to keep the pesky creators away. Even though they all work hard on the ranch, they play hard to. The play football, basketball, soccer, and more. This book shows young readers that it's important to work hard, but also enjoy yourself and have fun with the people you love. The book also teaches young readers about different kinds of sports and the equipment used in each of those sports. The illustrations in this book are very well done and detailed. On the first page, it shows the beautiful landscape of the ranch and it paints a picture for the rest of the book. The vocabulary in this book is easy to understand and always for it to be read by any young reader.

This book is about a dog named Charlie. He lives on a ranch with his family. He loves to play ball with his family. He talks about playing basketball and soccer, but his favorite to play is football. This was a cute book. I thought it was a nice story about a dog, but I was not completely interested in it. Nothing in the book necissarily hooked my attention. This book would best be used in a pre-k or kindergarten classroom. I would read this to students who enjoy playing sports. This book would be great to use with younger students to help make text-to-self connections, since it is a book that is easily related to.

In "Charlie Plays Ball," there's a dog named Charlie and he lives on a ranch farm. He has all kinds of duties to perform and it's hard work. He works hard, climbs mountains, explores new territories, and loves to play ball. His favorite ball is football. The family always played football with him. He played all other kinds of sports too, and then he got to play with farm animals and got to score. This book is a good children's book to entertain.

"Charlie Plays Ball" was a very fun story to read. I believe any child with a love for dogs would absolutely adore this book. One feature I enjoyed about this book was the multiple illustrations on each page. I feel this feature will help keep children more engaged in the book.

I enjoyed reading the book. It is for young children, and mostly based on a dogs life. I feel many children would be interested while reading this book. It also illustrated on the point of view of Charlie, the dog in the story. I think it was a good book for young children to read.

Such a cute book.

My son is really in to dogs and pets right now, so he really enjoyed this book. The author does a really good job of describing the dog's personality and the illustrations are colorful and adorable.

My favorite of the Charlie books so far!

This story is such a cute, easy to read story about a puppy who is just loving his life on the ranch with his family. Charlie is shown to be a hard working, sports loving, caring puppy. This story is a typical animal story that all children love to read. This is an easy to understand book for any age group. The pictures are very colorful and attracting to the eye.

Synopsis- Charlie the Basset Hound is a ranch dog. He ropes, he rides, and he eats – okay he really doesn’t rope and he just rides in trucks but he does eat a lot. And eats. Besides eating, Charlie also loves it when the ranch people play ball. Come with Charlie as he goes and PLAYS BALL! [He also takes a nap and eats, but that’s not the point]What I Thought- Charlie is amazing. The series is awesome. I may be a tad biased, because we also have a basset hound and the books has the basset personality down pat. The books are funny and really cute. I love the fact that Charlie is a real dog. It brings a good touch of realism to the story. The illustrations are funny, usually with under-lying humor in the background. For example, Charlie has a little chipmunk friend on almost every page. Ms. Drummond really knows how to write a great story! *NOTE* I got a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

I absolutely loved this book! I think I liked it because I am such an animal lover and have two dogs of my own. I was definitely able to relate to this because my dogs act the exact same way. Go outside, play, eat, sleep, repeat! This book gave Charlie such an hysterical personality, I just loved it! I found myself actually laughing throughout the book because my dogs do the exact same thing. At the end of the book, the author gave the actual recipe for Charlie's favorite spaghetti and meatballs. I thought that was really interesting, I have never seen a children's book do that before. This is a book that I will definitely share with my students in the future.
