Chasing Morgan audiobook

Chasing Morgan was such an interesting story and I really did like this edition. I am not sure how I would rate this series so far to be honest, each book is so different from all the others so its really difficult to even try to compare any of these. I did really enjoy seeing how this book was written though. We have a bit of a unrequited love in this book, but their romance is a bit complex so its really hard to describe what this one is actually like. I do think in order to appreciate this book though, you really need to read the previous books as their story is built over the past few novels in the series. I did find it so different from this series this author has implemented some unique elements that you just don't normally see in a standard contemporary romance. I was so fascinated by the way that it was implemented. As the heroine has some psychic abilities and I really liked seeing something so different in this book. We also have a protective FBI agent in this one, but there is some unrequited love and it can be a bit confusing at times the way that these two characters treat each other at times. On the surface, the blame falls on the hero but in reality, both of them make mistakes that build into the conflict that divides them. But once they really come together, then the romance just really ended up working so well for me. I had such a blast with this one here and I can't wait for the finale!! Jennifer Ryan always delivers such solid romance and her writing flows so effortlessly. You can never go wrong with picking up a novel from her.

Good plot. Disliked the hero for nearly half the book, but he was way better in the second half. I think Morgan was pretty great and I enjoyed her gifts.

Sooooo much better than the last book. I'm glad I stuck with the series after the debacle of The Right Bride. Honestly, the only reason I did was because I was already invested in Tyler and Morgan and had been waiting for their story.That's not to say that Tyler didn't piss me off a bit in the beginning, but I really do understand why. He thought he was doing the right thing and just wanted to be happy. He just didn't really know what that meant until he met Morgan face to face.I loved the mystical connection Tyler and Morgan had. I also enjoyed the "happy Jack" stuff. That was cute and brought some whimsy to the story. The way the "family" took Morgan under their wing immediately and didn't treat her as an outcast for her abilities was really touching.Again, I'm glad I kept going in this series. It kind of bothers me that when the family gets together Caleb and Summer are barely mentioned, but that's not a deal breaker for me. And Ben is coming back in the next book so I look forward to that.

I would have to say this book was my favorite. I just loved Morgan she was sweet and the power she has is amazing she really is like a fairy. Morgan and Tyler were destine to be together but Tyler kept pushing away because even tho he knew her for 5 years he hasn't seen her. Tyler does have a girlfriend for have the story but she really isn't involved, she is just there for a bit. I wasn't sure how I liked that but her being there didn't really matter because obviously he was in love with Morgan. She has been helping the FBI for years and soon it is time for her to need their help because now she is being hunted. Tyler was great in the other books I was excited to read his story, when he finally realize how much Morgan meant to him he did everything he can to make her his. Great story suspense, killer, psychic, and family.

Morgan has been a part of Tyler's life for eight years. He had only seen her once but she has come to mean so much to him over the years. Their connection was something that could forge a life long bond or tear them apart forever. She was always there for him when he needed someone. She was that voice of reassurance when times go bad. Until she wasn't. Morgan had been through so much as a child. She had a life that just kept taking and taking. She thrived on the happy, content thoughts of others. Their positive energy gave her the boost to move forward. But when things were bad they were really bad. Jennifer delivered another great book in this series. I have to say that I let this read with unanswered questions and doubts but still got a very satisfying read.

If you have read the last two book in this series before this book then you will absolutely be thrilled of the outcome of Tyler and Morgans story. She totally blew me away and the connection between these two has no words. After 5 years they will finally meet and take on the roughest case that Morgan has come across. She will also have to deal with family members that are not nice. Tyler will be with her pretty much every step of the way as they both work to bring bad men to justice and work on their understanding of their special connection.

Quando li Lucky Like Us fiquei imensamente curiosa sobre a misteriosa Morgan e a sua relação com Tyler, pelo que tinha mesmo de passar o livro deles à frente.Lamento dizer que fiquei desiludida com a primeira metade do livro e a forma como a autora desenvolveu o enredo deles a encontrarem-se pela primeira vez e também como o dom dela foi agora exposto. Sinceramente, o que "salvou" este livro e lhe valeu uma nota melhor foi a interação com outros personagens secundários e uma parte especialmente emotiva de Morgan a ajudar uma adolescente abusada que me levou às lágrimas.

3,5 stars. I liked the blurb on this book, which is why I chose it for my second read by Jennifer Ryan. I'm really really glad I loved the first book, it's the only thing that kept me reading through the first half of this story.(view spoiler)[All I can ask is why? What on earth did Marie have to do with moving the story forward in any way? Honestly I came so close to closing the book and saying to hell with it, I'm done. For 50% of the book the H is seeing, sleeping and intending to marry another woman, despite being in love with (though I do admit he'd only met her once) Morgan. He's feeling guilty, he know's he doesn't love the other woman, but she's easy to manipulate and doesn't cause a fuss... ummm yeah 'cause that really endeared him to me... not.Thankfully, I stuck with it, and there is a whole lot of groveling and apologizing. And once he gets his head out his behind, he grows up into a good guy. What also kept me reading was his family, I loved them, I adored how they did not pull their punches with him, they protected Morgan, and most important accepted her for all that she is. I'm going to say here though I really hope the whole other woman thing is not a repeated theme by this Author. (hide spoiler)]I'm going to head off to read the next one.

I like that this book brought us back to the features I liked best about Sam’s book. People behaving in deeply human ways, both the best and worst of our nature, without artificially stupid actions to drive up the drama and angst. I really appreciated the perspective the author uses about psychics. She shows that some are all flash and showmanship while there are others who have abilities that defy our perceptions and sometimes even our capability to understand. I loved watching the relationship between Tyler and Morgan develop. It took its time and progressed naturally. Even with the supernatural elements in this story, their connection wasn’t anything as one-dimensional as lust-at-first-sight or instant soulmates. This was another book that gave me hope for the whole series.

Yup. Even betterAs I suspected, these stories are getting better and better. With each book. Morgan is written beautifully. I loved everything about her. As far fetched as being a “psychic empath” sounds, every thing just seemed believable the way she was created by this author. Not a single time , did I think she’d gone too far. I think Morgan might just be my favorite character. That would be right after little Emma though. She’s just delicious.

Eeeekkk. I loved it.A psychic and a FBI agent falling in love. She has these abilities to read people, past, present and future. He believes in the tangible and thinks she has an uncanny knack for helping solve cases. They have an unique connection to each other, where they can hear and see things in each other's mind.

Was so excited to get to book #4 in the series and get o read Tyler and Morgan's story - AND it was just as good as I anticipated!!! Morgan's special powers added such a unique and captivating element o the story - could not put it down!

Seriously loving this author!!
