Flat Stanley and the Very Big Cookie audiobook

I pulled another Flat Stanley book off the library shelf to read and share with everyone. Stanley and Arthur are excited about the Town Fair this coming weekend, however there is someone who is less than eager about the coming celebration. Pete, the local baker, is worried about not having something original to share with others, which could mean his customer base dries up. When Stanley and Arthur agree to help him, they come up with an idea, though it’s more an accident than an intentional find. Will it be enough to save Pete’s Sweets? We’ll have to see!I admit, I enjoyed this book, even if it made me quite hungry before supper. The idea was pretty funny and the pictures matched the text really well. Great for early readers, with words and ideas that everyone can enjoy!

Classroom uses: Can be used as a group read aloud, or for independent reading to help grow a student’s vocabulary/literacy. Especially good for those students that like the Flat Stanley series of books.

Flat Stanley is such a helpful little boy. I think he is a great role model for children. This book showed him helping the librarian, the dentist, and finally the baker. He was also nice to his parents and his little brother. My 4-year-old nephew and I enjoyed reading this book together.

Like the character of Stanley , the flat kid

This book was a very good book. I like the idea of the author making Stanley flat. Stanley liked and was used for many things because he was flat. One day the baker wasn't busy he said that the baker next town would take all his business Stanley asked why. Pete said that the other baker had Cake pops and he didn't. The baker had always come up with big ideas but not this time. On the next day Stanley and Arthur went to the bakery store after school, Stanley slipped on a candy ball and landed on the cookie dough and when the baker (Pete) saw it and he came up with a big idea that would bring people to his store. He made Kid size cookies. And on the next day there were a lot people who came. Stanley's and Arthur's parents were really happy for them. This is a good book that you can read.
