The story of Happy Birthday, Danny and the Dinosaur! was written in children literature because the setting was all about children that were happy about Danny and his dinosaur's birthday. Happy Birthday, Danny and the Dinosaur is a counting book because when the kids are going to sing Happy Birthday to Danny and the Dinosaur they count the candles on their birthday cake.The story begins with Danny will be celebrating his birthday. He is so excited about this day because he had a friend that shares the same birthday. He goes to visit his friend and he is not your normal friend he is a dinosaur. He tells him I am 6 years old today and he invites the dinosaur to his party. The dinosaur is so excited about the party on the way back to Danny's house Danny and the dinosaur pick up some of his friends.Danny and his friends were so excited because they all rode the dinosaur to Danny's house. The dinosaur also shared a birthday with Danny and he was a hundred million years old. The kids, Danny and the dinosaur all got party hats and were ready to sing happy birthday, play games, and eat ice cream, and cake. At the end of the story the dinosaur and Danny both agreed that was the best birthday they had ever had it was such a nice and happy ending. I would definitely read this book to my students and my kids at home because it is such a nice picture book with a lot of happy kids faces.

Happy Birthday Danny and the Dinosaur by Syd HoffAudio book about Danny who was in a hurry to see his friend the dinosaur. He's 6 and he's having a party.From the museum he rode and they picked up more friends along the way. It's Danny's birthday and the dinosaur but he's over 100 years old.They hung up balloons and sang songs and the dinosaur was able to play along with them but his voice was very loud.Pin the tail on the donkey was a good game. candle counting and making wishes, best part of the party to me...I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).

This is a pretty good book. Boys would really enjoy this book because it is about a dinosaur. Everybody would enjoy this book because its about a birthday party. It has all the traditional birthday party events that young children might be fimilar with and enjoy.
