Minnie and Moo are two of the greatest cows in all of children's literature. I feel quite confident in making that statement, mostly because I think they're hilarious, and also because I can't really think of any other comedic cows in kids' books.... And silly me, I was fooled the whole time about what happened to that jelly donut. *Bonus: Elvis the (drunk??) Rooster makes an appearance!

Once again, this series has the right touch of humor to keep my son interested as I read. Though Minnie and Moo aren't the brightest cows in the pasture, they sure do manage to embark on several interesting adventures. The most comedic part of this book comes when the duo decide to dress up as chickens, in order to find out who stole Minnie's jelly donut. At the end of it, it turns out the donut wasn't stolen, just simply stuck to Minnie's rear. Nonetheless, their little investigation did help save Elvis from being kidnapped by a fox and over all this is an entertaining children's book.

This is such a funny book! It seems like the older kids get, the funnier the books get too.Minnie and Moo are cows that live on a farm and seem to love donuts. While eating their jelly donuts out of the box one day, Minnie's donut suddenly disappears. Neither Minnie nor Moo know where it's gone. Thus begins their search.Minnie and Moo is a chapter book, which is unusual. It also introduces some reading concepts which is unusual as well. What a great book! I loved it!Very colorful and animated.

I don't know where this book came from, but I found it on my book shelf last week. It's one of the "I CAN READ!" series, and it's hilarious no matter one's age. I am an octogenarian and I couldn't wait to share it with my friend who is older than I. While not quite so side-splitting as THE WONKY DONKEY, I wouldn't hesitate to share it with kindergarten children as a read aloud. Yet the plot is complex enough to engage confident early readers

This is a really humorous easy reader, and part of a series. I would definitely recommend this series to a student in grades 1 and 2. I thought Minnie and Moo, the two cows these books are about, were just so comical. The back and forth banter is just so cute as they try to solve the case of the missing jelly donut. They are sure the blue chicken from the book of Farm Crimes is the thief when they find a blue feather near the scene of the crime. They decide to dress up as chickens and sneak into the henhouse to find him or her. They meet up with a rooster returning from a birthday party, Elvis, and a fox looking for a chicken dinner. In the end it turns out the jelly donut was stuck to Minnie's behind!

I have silly girls aged 6 & 9. They like silly stories. They LOVED this story. We were all cracking up! The older one pick this book out a while back, read it and never said a word about it. My 6 year old picked it up this weekend and started reading it. She read it to me and we laughed and laughed. Then the 9 year old said she had been waiting so long for us to read it so she could laugh with us.

Minnie and Moo chapter books are a favorite of my adult special needs son and I. They never cease to bring a giggle or laughter out of us with their antics. This one they think chickens have robbed them of their jelly donut so they dress up like chickens to try and catch the thief. But funny business follows
