This book is perfect for little girls! I loved this story when I was young because what better than pink, unicorns, and soccer all in one story? This book is simple as the little girl is being put down by the black team. She learns to persevere and still be able to score a goal, even if the other team was discouraging her. It is also a perfect story for beginning readers because the word load on each page is very light.

This story is about a young girl who receives a pink soccer call from her father and plays against other girls who give her a hard time about her ball being pink. The young girl keeps her spirits high despite the other little girls being mean. She then uses her imagination to travel the world with her pink soccer ball and then scoring and winning the game. I recommend this book for parents with young kids interested in sports.

My daughter loves Pinkalicious and also loves soccer, so this was a good one for encouraging her. Also a great story for young ones about perseverence even when others are putting you down. Very cute.

As we have started getting more and more early readers I have been looking forward to reading Pinkalicious and now we can jump into our first one. We will have to go back to the original Pinkalicious book as well as the early readers. This is a fun girlie, yet athletic book where the Pinksters and the Ravens have a soccer match. Watching what could be an esteem killer turns into a springboard for imagination and a worldwide adventure! *Thanks to HC*ETA: Will be included in the Pinkalicious: The Pinkamazing Storybook Collection

Pinkalicious is a girl who likes everything pink. She loves playing soccer. her friend Tiffany says - Pink Skinks!!!!Pinkalicious proves her wrong and she wins the game using a pink football. This is realistic fiction. It has a unicorn which people think is not real, but i think they are real. I learnt that everyone has a different choice and they should stand by it.The word I chose to describe Pinkalicious is Tough because she never gave up.I would love to be friends with Pinkalicious as she never broke into pieces.

I checked this out from our library and it is such a favorite that I'm thinking of buying it- specifically my almost 4 year old son who loves sports loves it.In this story, Pinkalicious gets a pink soccer ball, is made fun of a bit, and gets over her nervous play by going around the world and seeing others girls play soccer and cheering her to "Think Pink", she returns to score the winning goal. Goldalicious, her imaginary unicorn friend, allows her to temporarily step away from the game (time freezes) and visit other parts of the world. The story is affirming, imaginative, encouraging athletics, and shows the ups and downs of sport play. Women around the world playing soccer have had to fight for this chance, and this book pays a little tribute to that. If your child likes Pinkalicious or soccer stories give this one a go. We also read Pinkalicious (the first one where she turns pink from pink cupcakes and I think she gets her name)- my kids were ready to return after a week.
