It's so good to see one of my favorite kitty cats in kids lit once again! Splat the Cat has endeared himself to my heart for years, and with the passing of creator Rob Scotton, other writers have accepted the torch, like Amy Hsu Lin with this addition to the Splatty Universe! Splatty is anxious to make a snowman, ahem, SNOWCAT made out of snow this winter, only there's not much snow falling, and that's "snow way" to celebrate the season! Uh uh. So Splat gets down n' dirty creative, making his own snow job (oops! Bad pun!) using ice cubes from a tray, chopping them into teeny pieces and blowing them thru the air with a small fan. Buuuut, as usual with Splatty, these plans don't go well. But how he and his cat family get together to remake winter makes for yet another fun and funny Splatty adventure fans will lap up like cats do with milk. Splatty remains irresistible and lovable! Splatty rules!!!!Four starsSplatty the Ultimate Snow Angel!

Splat the /cat can not wait for the snow to begin to fall. He gets so inpatient that he tries to make his own snow. He ends up just making a mess. After he clams down the snow finally begins to fall and it falls and falls. He is finally happy and can now make a proper snowman. Easy reader book. level 1. Good book for 1st through 3rd grade.

Splat loves snow way more than I do. He even tries to make his own snow with ice and feathers. That didn’t turn out well. But maybe if he wishes heard enough, he will get his snow.

Oh, oh, oh. So much fun with "ow." I will use this clever text to introduce the "ow" word pattern to some lucky first graders. It's a wintery rhyming tale sure to charm little hearts.

Splat the Cat was sad. He wanted snow to come. His mother said wait for snow to come and his dad said, snow is almost here. He said, please snow, please snow then the snow came. He said yay the snow then he got his stuff. He walked with his tools and then he built snow and then he said the wind is too strong! His sister came with her doll.He went outside with his sled and put his ducks in a row and then he was happy and then he was sad and sad because he waited and waited but the snow didn't come. Then the snow happened. He went outside and he went to build a snowcat.
