Easy read for kindergartenerGreat and easy read for a kindergartener. My son enjoyed it and enjoyed the sweet story that was told. It also made him want ice cream, so I guess that’s one small negative.

A field trip the ice cream factory is exactly how Splat the Cat wants to spend his day. As him and his friends arrive, they expect to be surrounded with the delicious ice cold sweet treat. Instead, they are met with a lesson on freezers. As the lesson drags on, Splat accidentally presses a big red button. Ice cream shoots everywhere! Personification is a huge part of this book. Each of the cats are given human like qualities as they can talk to each other as well as hold things such as buckets and mops. Without this personification factor, the book would not be only like how it is. Splat the Cat gets a five star review from me. Splat is an adorable character which children will be able to easily relate to. Within that, Splat and his friends can help teacher children wonderful things. They were able to come together as a team to not only find their friend, but also clean up the factory which they accidentally made dirty in the first place.

This is a great book because it teaches the students how to react when they make mistakes. The class went on a field trip to an ice cream factory. They were excited until they realized how boring it was to make ice cream. Splat makes a mistake and spills ice cream everywhere which created a small problem. They all worked together to clean up the mess and couldn’t find the mouse. They ended up finding the mouse by eating the ice cream. I love ice cream so this was a must to see if it will be chosen for the grandkid bookshelf. I do believe it will win a place. Splat and his friends are going on a field trip to visit and ice cream factory. They find that it is pretty boring and lots of learning until someone starts to fall asleep and hits an emergency button by mistake. I am with Splat and his friends at the end when no-one wants any more ice cream after the day they have had.

Great.This was a fun story to read with my daughter. She loves the fact that they ate all the ice cream. The words are simple but still a little bit of a challenge for her grade level.

This book was really Good.I liked the part where Seymour whispered, "For now". I also liked that all the ice cream spilled and my grandmom liked that they cleaned it all up. If you like Splat the cat you need to read this book. Alexiah Fontenord

Great bookEnjoyed reading about the cats eating ice cream and cleaning up the factory. It has some more complex vocabulary that I would like for my children that are learning to read but all in all a good book.

FunThis book is fun. My son and I enjoyed it. Also good for children learning to read, it is nice and entertaining so that it will hold a child's attention. Also it's about ice cream! who doesn't like ice cream?

Fun readThis is a fun read for beginners. The trip and the tour the cat students take is adventurous. It was a cute way the mouse had some mystery. And too much of something even Ice cream can be excessive.

Wonderful readingMy 4-yr old grandkid read and enjoyed this book a lot. We loved the colors and the characters and the ice cream. I especially enjoyed that as soon as we turned the pages, she would try to imagine the storyline. Loved it!

To easy To easy I’m 8 so It’s easy for me I can read level 5 and chapter books my mom told me to read because it’s summer break that means I have to keep doing math and reading Ps I like Ice cream that’s why I give It 4 star
