What fun is it to have new purple skates if the rain moves in and leaves you stuck inside. Super fun, except I will not be eating frosted fish sticks any time soon. Yuck!

Splat just wants to try out his new skates but the weather goes from clear skies to a rainy day. Splat hates the rain so he decides to use his skates inside the house, much to the dislike of everyone else in his family. Splat is constantly running into trouble. This book does have a happy ending though and I liked the rhyming words.

Splattiness rules!!!!! Splat the Cat wants t try some roller blading, and has the moves--and the padding---to prove his point. But it's raining cats and...well, more cats! What's a cat to do on a rainy day? The answers will have you meowling with pure delight and (dare we say it) laughing in the rain, walking hand in hand with the ones you love!
