The Berenstain Bears’ New Pup Audiobook Narrator

Lance Rubin is the narrator of The Berenstain Bears’ New Pup audiobook that was written by Jan Berenstain

Stan and Jan Berenstain were already successful cartoonists for magazines and adult humor books when they began writing children's books. The first story starring the bear family, The Big Honey Hunt, appeared in 1962. Since then, more than 370 Berenstain Bears books have been published, and more than 300 million copies have been sold. What began as an idea sparked by their young sons' love of reading has become over the years arguably the best-selling children's book series ever.

Since their inception, the Berenstain Bears stories have expanded to include picture books, beginning readers, and chapter books–even a hit TV show on PBS. Writing and illustrating the books has become a Berenstain family affair. Mike joined with his parents as a creative team in the late 1980s. The Bear family has expanded over the years as well. Sister Bear arrived in 1974, and baby Honey joined the family in 2000.

Though Stan died in 2005 and Jan in 2012, Mike continues to create the delightful Berenstain Bear adventures from his studio in Pennsylvania.

I would pick up this book for a child who is convinced caring for a pet is STRICTLY lovely. Puppies leave puddles and calling cards for others to clean up. Some people think cleaning up waste qualifies under the highest love. Go ahead, if that's your take!!!A cute nighttime story.

Might be a good book to introduce young kids to the fact puppies aren’t all fun and games. That they require work too. It’s a fun read.

We have ended up with a bunch of our youngest nephew’s old early readers, and this is the one that Elijah got stuck on right off the bat. He is a dog fan like his parents, so it’s no wonder, but I think he also just loves saying the word “pup.” Anyway, I don’t always love the Berenstain Bears, but this one is actually pretty good.

In this Berenstain Bear's book the children talk their Mama into adopting one of Farmer Ben's puppy for them. Mama tells them a puppy is hard work, a puppy isn't just a toy. So as they learn all the struggles that come with having a new puppy they also learn what it's like to love one too.

Cute book for beginning readers. The illustrations are cute and would help a student create meaning if they had difficulty reading a word. I would recommend this book for K-2.
