I remember reading this back in elementary school and just ADORING it. (I was a pretty big "Warriors" geek, and firestar was my dude/cat). So in short: I basically GREW UP loving/consistently re-reading this book.**And Funfact: this was the book that got me really into warriors. So ... :')**

** spoiler alert ** you need to read all the other warriors books to understand this one, but for those of you who have read all the others, this is one of the best warriors of them all (besides Dark River and Sunset.) it happens between the first series and the new prophecy series, and it explains everything that happened between them, like how willowpelt died, and how longtail became blind. it tells about how starclan was lying all along to firestar, that there were really 5 clans in the forest, not 4, and the missing clan, SkyClan, had gotten chased out of the forest. in this exciting adventure, firestar has to find the remenants of the lost clan, if any are still alive, and rebuild it. its nice to see it in firestar's point of view again after the new propohecy... i missed him.

Bonus book written from Firestar's POV as he sets out to find and rebuild the unknown 5th Clan who forcibly left the forest long ago. Then he goes home and makes kittens (in a suitably unmentioned way, of course!)

After the massive battle with BloodClan, Firestar and the Thunder Clan cats are finally at peace. At least they think they are...... Firestar soon receives mysterious dreams constantly by the same plot: a grey cat with a wailing and screaming clan escaping and running away. When he realizes StarClan has hidden a forbidden secret of a forgotten clan, Firestar is furious and turns his back from the ancestors that he used to trust. How was he so careful about seeing his four clans across invisible borders but so blind about his own cats upstairs? Now he is coerced to make one of the biggest choices in his life: bring the clan back from darkness and guide them to the gleaming light. Should Firestar really give up being leader of ThunderClan for a while and be a mentor of the lost clan? Or should he remain leader and not betray his wealthy clan? In the midst of a trouble, an old friend comes and alleviates the situation with an important dream. This is the last sign of the desperate, old, grey cat who appeared in his constant dreams. Now, the responsibility is in his own paws. "Firestar's Quest" is such a suspenseful book; it is like a shattered puzzle piece going to be put back together, piece by piece. This 510 paged story really made me look a little closer again. If you ever read this book, you will be sitting at the edge of your seat! After reading this, you will never look at your pet cat again as a lazy, fat, piece of fur. Although lots of the chapters were really stalling the hidden answers, and I was so keen to find them, I rate this five stars because of the image the author paints in your head. Erin Hunter is great at creating stories and I could have never have the knack of she has, of writing the most unforgettable stories. People who love reading the "Percy Jackson" series will one hundred percent adore this book because the plot is similar but somehow different at the same time.

I really hope we get to go back and learn more about SkyClan one day! I much prefer this special edition to the normal series books, I suppose because it didn't feel rushed, and there were no crazy emotions and drama etc. I love how Firestar's and Sandstorm's relationship was strengthened, and I think I've found a new favourite character in Leafstar! Jumping back into the forest world soon.

Rating: 8 out of 10I am pleased to say this book was way better than I expected. The first 25% percent wasn’t very promising, so I thought I would give it three stars. However, once Firestar and Sandstorm arrived at the gorge, the story just got better and better. I loved the new cast of characters; they had diverse and interesting personalities, and by the climax of the book I already cared deeply about all of them. The plot was simple but suited the book, which I felt was more focused on the characters. Still, the final battle was really exciting and I liked how they won using strategy as well as brute force.Other things I enjoyed were the sweet moments between characters (new and old) and how Firestar and Sandstorm’s relationship was managed. Everyone was in character and there were even some hints to the second series.I recommend this book to every Warriors fan or person interested in the premise. It doesn’t disappoint!

The four clans of the forest have enjoyed six moons of peace after the ferocious battle against BloodClan. Firestar, leader of ThunderClan, is sent dreams of fleeing cats lead by a pale-gray and white tom escaping a great threat. Firestar soon finds out that these cats were once members of SkyClan, a fifth clan that used to live in the forest not far from ThunderClan, that were driven out of the forest by the other clans leaving them homeless, trying to find a new home in a faraway gorge. With the help of his beloved mate Sandstorm and the former SkyClan leader, Firestar rebuilds the lost clan out of rouges, kittypets and loners while along the way reuniting Cloudstar (the old SkyClan leader) with his beloved mate Birdflight, who stayed in ThunderClan with her two kits when SkyClan left the forest, restoring the tom's faith in his warrior ancestors. This was the first Super Edition I ever read and I would definatly recommend it to all cat and fantasy lovers

To me, Firestar's Quest was a great book and deserves 4 stars. Some positives include a good plot, an okay climax, and great characters. However, I thought the book was too long and had a slow beginning. The most slow and boring part of the book was the actual journey from Thunder Clan to Sky Clan. However, once they reached Sky Clan's camp, the book started getting much better and enjoyable to read. All in all, Firestar's Quest is a great book that starts out slow, but gets better as you continue to read on.

This book is getting really good. Firestar is now in the gorge with Sandstorm learning SkyClan's history from Sky and his faith in StarClan has already been shaken. As for what i've learned, this has filled in a huge gap in the story for me finally. Same with the Mangas. They filled in gaps for me so i'm not so lost from time to time!
