A Day of Fire: A Novel of Pompeii

When Vesuvius erupted, the entire town was destroyed in an explosion of ash and lava. That day, slaves, patricians, children, adults, heroes, and villains, crossed paths to escape the mountain’s wrath.

Mistress of Rome is the first book in a series titled The Empress of Rome. The novel is set in first-century Rome and portrays a woman named Thea.

Thea is a captive from Judea. Although she’s a slave, Thea is, in fact, a capable and determined survivor with a passion for music. She manages to evade the spite of her mistress Lepida Pollia and catches the eye of Rome’s most savage gladiator.

When Lepida learns about the relationship, she breaks up the lovers and casts Thea out. This doesn’t worry Thea. Thanks to her resourcefulness, she reinvents herself and begins singing for Rome’s most powerful people.

Her beautiful voice attracts none other than the Emperor himself, and Thea finds herself in a dangerous situation.

Lady of the Eternal City

This is the last novel in The Empress of Rome series. It focuses on Sabina, the Empress of Rome, who is torn between two men: her husband Hadrian, the Emperor of Rome, and Vix, her first love.

When tragedy causes Hadrian to spiral into madness, Sabina and Vix need to do everything in their power to save the Roman Empire.
