"Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today."
Sir Richard BransonThe intelligent Blio. capable of understanding that books are more than simply words; they also contain style, presentation, and a kaleidoscope of colors. Blio is also sophisticated enough to understand how knowing all of this improves reading enjoyment. You adore books because of this. As a result, Blio books have the same design, fonts, and full-color illustrations that you love in the print version of your favorite books. picture of Blio However, eBooks are meant to be different, which is why they have a small "e" before "book". The capabilities of the device you're reading on should be fully utilized by eBooks, giving them more functionality. The same is true with Blio. Your books may now be read aloud to you, and Blio will highlight each word so you can follow along. Without ever leaving your book, you may use search engines like Google, Bing, and others to seek up unfamiliar words or to learn more about a subject. There are also some individuals who enjoy writing in the margins; you know who you are. Blio will also take care of that for you. Each book's notes section allows you to highlight, annotate, add images, and even web connections. No matter where you are or what device you are using to read on, Blio wants to make reading fun and simple. In order to accomplish this, Blio provides ReadLogic, a function that may automatically zoom in and move you to the next logical location in the book for you to read, whether it's the subsequent paragraph, a caption, or a sidebar. The Blio BookVault is another service provided by the company, which you may use from any location. With the Blio BookVault, you may start reading a book on one device and finish it on another while keeping track of your reading progress. picture of Blio Think about all that Blio can accomplish for you in light of all that it already does. Finally, there's an eReader that brilliantly brings textbooks, travel guides, how-to manuals, children's books, and cookbooks to life. These kinds of content have previously only existed as pictureless, monochrome pages on other eReaders. Blio brings everything to life in front of your eyes in full color. So use Blio to turn the page to a brand-new content universe. The best parts of Blio: Blio shows books in full color, with fonts, images, and layout exactly as the publisher intended. Your books can follow you wherever you go with Blio as you can connect up to 5 devices. You may access all of your content using Blio's BookVault and download it to your smartphone from any location with an internet connection. To make reading easier on even the tiniest devices, ReadLogic mode intelligently zooms to the following logical text block. There are several reading views available, such as text-only mode, single page, dual page, tiled pages, or 3D "book view" for realistic page turning. For quick lookup of highlighted phrases, compile a customised list of reference websites. Without ever leaving the context of your book, look up words or subjects using the inbuilt browser. Allow Blio to read the chosen book to you, underlining each word. Notes can be added straight into your article as text, images, or hyperlinks. These are saved, and an export function can be used to produce lists or study materials. complete assistance for audio and video incorporated into interactive books for touch-enabled devices, supports touch interaction
This app alone makes the iPad worth every penny For journalists/lawyers and pretty much anyone who has to attend meetings, listen to speakers and take notes, you could probably charge the cost of an entry level iPad for a device which did nothing more than this application. It is, of course, stunningly simple - yet performs a task that is so useful once you have used it in anger, you'll never want to go back to pure recording or note taking again. Thanks to the iPad's inbuilt microphone quality and long battery life, it's genuinely useful. Everyone using an iPad for work should have this application. Every iPad review I have written has this high on the recommended "first apps". It's £2.99. Cheaper than a decent pen and a pad of paper, let alone a dictaphone. Why are you even reading the reviews?

In meetings, lectures, and interviews, SoundNote is the finest tool for taking notes. You won't ever have to worry about missing a vital detail because it records audio and tracks what you type and draw. To skip to the appropriate time in the audio during playback, simply tap a word. SoundNote will do this for you. • Create rapid sketches with SoundNote's capable sketching tool. Editing them is also simple. You can pick a drawing by tapping it once, or you can select a single stroke by tapping twice. It can then be moved by dragging it to the desired location or by selecting "Delete" to delete it. Click and scroll with two fingers. Student use of SoundNote is ideal. Rest assured that SoundNote has your back if you ever doze off in class. In order to help you fill in the blanks, SoundNote will play the audio you recorded while you were awake when you tap the text you wrote there. A useful tool for journalists is SoundNote. Ever needed to quickly scroll over the entire recording of an interview to figure out what you missed during a key detail? To hear what you missed during that section of the interview, simply tap a word in SoundNote. • Share your text, drawings, and audio notes once you're done by emailing them to someone else or saving them directly to your Mac or PC. An hour of high-quality audio is only 25MB in size when it is recorded in the common M4A format for audio notes.
Multitasking, me? Nah! The one thing I can't do in meetings is take minutes and participate in any meaningful way. With soundnote, I can record the meeting and finger or stylus write bookmark style notes. Then when you play it back and tap the bookmark, bang, there you are, right where you were when you wrote it. This app has changed my working life and made post meeting report making waaaay more accurate and quick. 10 stars for this! iTunes export (that exports in soundnote format for moving between ipads and backup etc) and the ability to use a linked iPhone as a remote mic.. Well, that would get you 20 stars;)

It works I downloaded this app and tested it on a tv programme about the history of opera, as if I were taking notes in a lecture hall. It worked perfectly, and playing back particular parts of the programme was easy. The only difficulty was my lack of speed typing skills on the iPad. Wish I had downloaded the app a few days earlier and used it to record talks given at a work training course.

Works well and is reliable Having tried (and failed) to take text notes along side audio in Evernote (it crashes and can only store 20m sections) I turned to Soundnote. It just works - really well and integrates with drop box. Really, really impressed. If I was being greedy I'd ask for a VU meter and some basic formatting tools. If I was being really greedy I'd ask for outlining tools and an export to Word's notebook format. Great work!
