It helped with several essential event functions, like registration and payment processing, and helped make things easier. However, non-user-friendly functions made things more difficult for us, as we had to help guests register and make payments over the phone. All in all, it's affordable and worth the money, but improvements are needed.

I have a love/hate relationship with Cvent. I've used several other event management tools, and can say that Cvent is the most complete of any I've tried. It is a purpose built software that serves its purpose well. However, it can be difficult to use.

Needing to upload pre-recorded sessions for someone else to process, instead of being able to do that ourselves. Not being able to easily manage attendees in regards to which sessions were "included" vs which they had to pay extra for... especially those that were broken into multiple sessions because of length.

Sometimes updates are made and buttons/sections are moved or features are condensed into other areas. Even with the update notes that describe the changes and lists where features are moved, it slows you down a bit after learning and getting comfortable with the UI. Customer Service response times are sometimes slow.
