The app has a lot of pluses. First, it’s a well-designed app that helps make the abstract idea of focusing away from your phone into a fun game. It has some great features but it keeps things simple where it counts, and even the free version with ads is pretty good at not distracting you.

I'm all in favor of getting rid of needless email threads and online discussions about whether a particular time and date works for everyone you'd like to see or get on the phone. I'm a senior in college and I've been using the app for 3 semesters now and I'm OBSESSED. I love how you can actually see a physical representation of your hard work, and the plants are adorable! It really helps me avoid getting distracted by my phone both while studying and doing tasks like cleaning. It doesn't completely drown you with ads either, and the few automatic ones are very short. Overall great user experience, the devs did a fantastic job!

The idea of Forest is great, but there is one major flaw. Even though I fully turned on the setting that would allow the app to stop me from using other apps, it didn't work. I was tempted to scroll social media and play games instead of focus, and the app let me do that. Despite me not focusing, my tree grew fine and the data at the end of the timer showed nothing. I really hope this gets fixed because it would work great for me without the mistake.

Love this app! I use it in conjunction with a physical timer, that one is more for the alarm aspect, this one really helps me not get distracted by social media. It's easy to select which apps you want to allow use, though selecting the system ones can be really tedious because of all the different system functions for one action. But, it's not a deal breaker. Would recommend to anyone looking for a satisfying reward to not letting your phone distract you while you're trying to focus.

Love Doodle, hate the app. I clicked on the wrong time zone, and it wouldn't let me edit it because someone had already responded, and it wouldn't let me delete the response. I had to recreate the event, clicked all Saturdays, and it glitched and changed them all to Fridays. Now I'm having to completely create the event from scratch for the 3rd time. Going back to my computer and ditching the app.

I don't know what they did with the update, but the app that was once flawless is now unusable. It doesn't show the amount of people who have responded accurately, then when I got to look at my responses it literally shows nothing. I have to pull it up on my laptop which makes checking progress on the fly undoable. The app is literally not even worth using.

The new interface doesn't always show all the polls you created. And when it does, the dates it shows are often wrong. The dates looked correct when I was making the event, but when I checked to see what people voted for the dates were all moved one day backwards. If the app can't even schedule, what's the point of having a scheduling app?
