There should be more apps like this one and there just aren't. Narrator's Voice has the professional approach that I need most. The subscription can be frustrating, so be sure to confirm your subscription through the Google Play Store. The developers should emphasize this because I continued to be buried in ads even after reinstalling the app. The new pricing is very reasonable. I create hundreds of recordings for personal language study and the selection of voices is crucial.

It works really well, but in order to make it work, I have to host the text I want as a webpage and that is really annoying. Unfortunately, google makes the only good and free tts voice in existence, so I'm stuck with these annoyances until they are fixed.

Narrator’s Voice reviews

Without this app, the audiobooks of Regina Tillriguez on Soundcloud would not be possible. The voices enhance the storytelling experience and help sell the historical elements with a professional tone. I love this app. However, it seems they have changed the voices it uses and now the one was using has really weird timing that I can't seem to control. There are a lot of instances where one sentence starts too early after the previous one, or long mid-sentence gaps.

It functions okay. You really have to play with your sentence structure and word choice. Even with that, the thing that gets it two stars is all the ads and pop ups. I finally relented and paid to remove ads, only to get bombarded with enough begging for a rating to remind me of Dennis from It's Always Sunny.

so good so far.. I tried all of TTS apps, and all of them are not natural or expensive... Only downside here is the design and not user friendly app,( windows, incoherent colours, oldish look like..) I guess this need to be completely refresh from scratch. Also ads are VERY pushy in my opinion, I'm sure it would reject half of the people before trying, what a shame! (Be smart dev. ads would give you less money and more a bad reputation...) Edit: was already purchased on premium :)

Announcify reviews

It is broken and has been for a while. It seems to stop in the middle or at the end of long paragraphs as though there is some sort of character limit. It seems this might be a problem with Chrome's TTS api though since other TTS extensions seem to be having the same problem. It also will skip paragraphs when using the forward or back buttons. Seems the developer might have given up on this project. Which is sad since this was one of my favorite Chrome extensions.

Stops in the middle of the first paragraph. Otherwise its great!

won't read more than a few lines.
