Geekbot allows for us to have more regular check-ins and stand-up meetings with employees on a remote team. Being on a remote team is quite lonely at times and having Geekbot be a non-committal daily check-in really helps us stay on the same page with our team. The other reports are interesting and I'm excited to collect more datapoints over-time to get a nice gauge on how the team is feeling as a whole.

Pros
OnScreen is a simple to use application for all parties – users and training staff
It allows us to produce guides for some of our more common processes that can torpedo our working day if we have to answer multiple questions on them
The guides are extra helpful because the walkthrough nature of OnScreen means that the employee not only learns how to do the task, but actually completes the task while they are going through the guide.
Cons
OnScreen is designed as an SAP adoption tool, but is quite capable in other applications
There are workarounds and the OnScreen team is helpful in finding an optimal solution
The SSO capabilities have improved, but you still have to login each day which sometimes results in employees forgetting about the tool.

Geekbot

Pros
Overall I enjoy using geekbot
Hope that geekbot team will provide us with new cool futures in the future
Also love that people can pick and choose the best time for them to fill their standup, that's especially practical for contractors that have variable hours
I found myself having fun and finding better ways to organize myself and the team to answer better to geekbot

Its difficult to send multiple text

I used to say "a pain to edit later," but they fixed that: if you edit what you've entered in the geekbot channel, your corrections immediately show up in the group channel
Finding really difficult to fault this software
If I forget to post a response for a check-in and decide to do that the next day before the check-in time, I will not be prompted for a response."
