"Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today."

Most popular feedback for Quizalize

Overall, I'd encourage teachers to mix up the tools they use to help students review lower-level information and this should certainly be in your "toolbelt!" I like the interface, the reporting options, and the ability to assign as homework. I did experience a little confusion as the URL for the product changed from quizalize.com to live.zzish.com when I was looking for results. I still don't have a complete understanding of the relationship of the two URLs, but I believe the data analytics are being accessed from a different web-based tool and that's what is behind it? It could be better for teachers if that wasn't the case since it was a bit confusing. The only other negative I came away with when using this tool was that here is another web-based tool that is pretty engaging, but tends to encourage teachers to focus on lower-level depths of knowledge. If your students enjoy this type of tool/activity, I would just challenge you to be sure you're finding ways to make your questions challenging or only use this type of activity occasionally and still push your students to a deeper learning in other ways! How I Use It Quizalize is a tool similar to other online quizzing platforms. It works on any web-connected device without an app or software installation (which is nice). The teacher must create a class and create a quiz to assign. There is a "marketplace" which is a library of existing quizzes you can start from (some are free, some are not). Or creating your own quiz is pretty simple, too. When assigning the quiz to a class, you have the option of assigning it to play live or to play as homework. I'm looking forward to using quizzes as homework, because the reporting features for this platform let you see every time a student completed the quiz and how they scored. Opening a review quiz up for an extended time to allow students to practice as many times as they want to prepare for coming assignments would be valuable! I used it as a lower-level questioning review type activity to make sure students were comfortable with vocabulary necessary for future class discussions and readings. I used it following explicit instruction in class, so students had already been exposed to the content. A nice feature is after the quiz is played, the results include a "what we need help on" summary showing which questions were most frequently answered wrong and by which students. I could quickly see which vocabulary the students had already mastered and I took a few moments to focus on the ones that had several students miss them. Formative assessment and adjusting instruction! Though I didn't take advantage of the feature, you can even break questions into sub-topics and see results broken out by them. Pretty cool! When I first used this platform with a live class, I wanted to immediately see/show scores after the quiz was done, and it wasn't very intuitive to find where to do that.

Quizalize reviews

“Quiz and test scores tend to increase when I use Quizalize. I am able to help students in skills and topics they need to improve on as opposed to generic blanket review that isn’t targeted to individual student needs.” “It significantly improves teaching efficiency and productivity. I used to use a spreadsheet to help me understand what questions and skills need to be addressed for which student. Now the mastery dashboards and quiz data give me the same information in real-time.” “I use Quizalize along with Kahoot! and Socrative and they all save time on printing and grading. But the data I get from Quizalize is far deeper and useful which saves time trying to analyze the data and personalizing my teaching.” “Pre-made activities and automated differentiation help speed things up during lesson planning and the lesson itself. It’s easy to see which of my students are struggling, which helps me make quicker and more informed decisions for providing remediation.” “A quick and easy solution to make, grade and analyze tests. It’s a beautiful and easy use Answering quiz. Students get better results when examined.”

Quizalize is a classroom quiz-game website similar to Kahoot!, Quizlet, and Quizizz. Create quizzes with multiple- or two-choice question sets or single-word responses presented as word scrambles. Students then access the quiz from the web using a class code and see the full quiz on their screen. Teachers see how each student is progressing to the score goal, and they can choose to display this progress to the class. Teachers can connect with Google Classroom through ZZish, which serves as the dashboard/tracking system for student data. Students can play a quick game using the class code or log in with their G Suite for Education account (if teachers want to track progress). Premade quizzes are available -- some for free, and some at a cost -- and teachers can share the quizzes they create, too, for free or for a price. After the quiz, students see their score, the time it took them to answer each question, and a list of all questions, their answers, and correct answers. Teachers see a quick list of which students were strong and which need help. There's an optional premium upgrade that adds long-term progress tracking. Without this upgrade, teachers and students have access to only five quizzes' worth of data.

Quizalize is a gamified quiz making tool that you can use to drive students engagement, increase their participation, and enhance their learning. The way Quizalize works is similar to the two other gamified tools I reviewed in the past namely Kahoot, Blooket, Quizlet, and Quizizz. Teachers use Quizalize to create various types of quizzes that students can access using a generated code.

Mathway reviews

Easy to use and efficient, Mathway appeals to anyone who needs help solving mathematical problems, whether we're talking about high-school students or undergraduates. Even some professors and scientists can use it to verify results or perform routine equations more quickly. If you want not only answers, but also to learn from this app, however, you'll have to buy a rather pricey subscription.

I used mathway.com for my college quantitative analysis class (algebra). Started off using the free version, but I needed to see the steps to solve so I upgraded to the premium version. I only needed it for a month so I only paid $10. All the answers mathway.com gave me were correct and I got an A in the class.

While it can be helpful, its is trash. It is somehow unable to solve some calculus question that Symbolab and even my Ti-89 can solve perfectly fine.
