On the whole, The Reader’s Edge offers guided training to increase the pace to make book reading more enjoyable with customizable and easy to use training modules. The tutor can be used in schools, for group learning or by people of all ages to inculcate fast reading. There are also free updates for life. Popular solutions on the market such as 7-Speed-Reading or Rev it Up Reading may offer a strong alternative in terms of features, video tutorials, price and easiness of use. This specifically applies when comparing the basic version with other products on the market. Reader’s Edge rather sits on the pricier end when you put it next to other tutors.
MarkThe Literacy Company sells The Reader's Edge. It's a Windows desktop app or a browser-based app. $79.95 (Basic) or $149.95 (Advanced) depending on learning and feature level (Pro). The Reader's Edge improves reading speed and comprehension. What are the benefits? Reader's Edge will cover it. Reader's Edge—Features Reader's Edge is downloadable for PCs or accessible online. These examinations measure comprehension. Lessons-by-step Unlimited computer accounts Reader's Edge pro lets you customize vocabulary lists. Network provides further lists. If you care more about exercises, the Pro version features Audio-Text readings, High-Speed practice, Paced Reading training, and Timed Reading practice to push you further. 3. Online Reader's Edge Mac users can access Reader's Edge online via a browser-based app. It has the same functionalities, but fewer user accounts and administrative options. Online Basic includes all step-by-step modules to improve your pace and retention. The pro license offers five accounts and additional admin options to track all participants' progress. Individual learners are at a disadvantage because they don't necessarily need five user accounts, but the basic version has fewer features. Boba is a Spritz-enabled iOS browser and Safari extension that allows you to speed read content articles and content from your favorite websites and blogs. Users can speed read content within Boba, or throw content from Safari through action extensions, with configurable reading speed, allowing users to find a word per minute rate that they find comfortable. Word of warning? Since this is a Spritz app, you'll need to be connected online to speed read.
John CorpuzThe Boba software for Safari browsers and iOS devices is a lightweight and cost-free solution for improving reading speed. It uses the same Spritz technology as a lot of the other apps that have been listed on this page. What does it do? Downloading the iOS app or using the browser extension are the two options available to you if you want to rapidly read digital information on any blog or publishing website. There are no available options that will truly instruct you on how to read more quickly, which is highlighted below. The main purpose is to get you through content quickly. The program is modifiable, so users can select their preferred content sites or alter the number of words spoken each minute to improve their understanding. Boba requires iOS 8.1 or later. Unfortunately, it appears to be one of the many speed reading programs that hasn't been updated in a considerable amount of time. There is a possibility that more recent browser versions or devices will prevent it from functioning properly.
This speed reading software has a comprehensive and well-organized help menu that lets you browse topics by keyword, and it explains every part of the application thoroughly.

Taking into account that the Reader’s Edge desktop hasn’t had a significant update for a few years now and counting, the program feels old-fashioned in regards to setup and price value. While you have the most common features onboard, you will need to pay a lot more compared to other tools when trying to upgrade the number of exercises or types of learning features.

The Reader's Edge improves your reading speed, comprehension, and recall, no matter how old you are and your level of reading proficiency. Thanks to an intuitive interface, simple exercises, and detailed lessons, you'll be amazed at how much more productive you can be!

I enjoy the app. But there are those of us who suffer from tryphophobia, which is the fear of a succession of tiny holes which make your logo for the app. For lack of a better term, disturbing. Idk if it's possible to make it different. To avoid freaking out by accident I have to put it in a folder away from the main screen and click it quickly then distract myself in order to forget I saw it.

1 billion stars if they can figure out how to allow us to read books we have purchased (iBooks) using their app. Why can't we decide how we want to read a book we have purchased? I read all my news, financial, and sports, web pages (and apps) using boba now..

Exactly what I needed. I don't know why more spritz apps don't catch on and run as an extension from the share sheet. This app is truly one of a kind.
