OpenKM is an open source Electronic Document and Records management system, designed to collaborate and manage documents and content at the enterprise level. It provides features to manage the complete life cycle of documents (classification tools, live edit, version control, communication tools) and implement business processes (automation, workflows, OCR, scanner client, digital signature). It has no technical barriers to connect with 3rd party apps and has modules to meet specific needs.

FabBest thing I ever did in business! Ours is a small company, Responsibid is like adding someone to the payroll without hiring anyone. It employs potential customers to enter all relevant contact and property information and gives them an instant quote on the spot. From there they can choose from various service packages, accept their quote and even schedule online. What could be better than that? Great support every step of the way, very good trustworthy folks. It is a must have for small service companies.

We use the software to maintain bills received from our facilities over 2 states. We have to keep everything for at least 2 years before compacting and archiving with the ability to pull up documents on the fly. We currently have roughly 200,000 PDFs in OpenKM and the only lag comes from Adobe. We are running it on an in-house VM with very little resource usage and have had almost no problems.
