Rocket.Chat vs Vibely

"Quick Communication Tool" What do you like best about Rocket.Chat? One of the things I like about this tool is easy to add a new server or as many servers as we like depending on the work that we have with different stakeholders. It makes it so easy to create different communication channels which is very handy when we have multiple projects to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Rocket.Chat? The UI can be improved a bit and the mobile experience can able be worked on. Using it from a mobile device can be troublesome sometimes when we are in hurry and want to message someone instantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Rocket.Chat solving and how is that benefiting you? We are basically using this to have internal / client communication with our core and client teams. It has made it easy to have different communication channels/servers as per need.

"RocketChat - Great for Big Companies" What do you like best about Rocket.Chat? The application itself is open-source, so it has a multitude of capabilities. It's also decently secure, and you can share sensitive data over it as long as the system admins and coders that set it up for you know what they are doing. It has a massive amount of addons and what-not. It's overall an excellent tool to use for teamwork. It's the best free alternative to slack and others like it. I wouldn't say I like that it does not have a built-in dark theme customizatioin; not only that, even the more trivial customizations you might want to have required at least basic knowledge of coding or something akin to that. It has many different functions and the ability to accommodate almost any needs of your particular niche in industry. But I have to say it's not the neatest and easiest to use. We use it on a daily basis to work with the most sensitive data there is, like medical records, personnel files, private information of individuals. It allows us to create different teams who can communicate separately about their own specific niche in a private separate room/channel.

I love this app! I love than anywhere in the world I go I can meet up with a lady from Girls Gone Global. I feel like I automatically have friends all over the world. I do have an idea about the group chat to make it easier to connect with people. Maybe there could be separate chats for separate regions (Europe, South East Asia, Central America, etc...) so we aren’t having the entire world in one group chat, which can feel very overwhelming. Have it so you can enter any chat. Say you’re from Canada but are visiting Indonesia, you can hop on the Indonesia chat to talk with people directly in your area. I’m also having a problem where the red notification symbol over the app on my iPhone doesn’t go away automatically after I’ve checked the notification. I have the close and renter the app a few times to get it to go away. Thank you so much for creating this app!!! I love it!

I recently downloaded this app and I’m very excited to see where this goes. It’s a great place to meet new people especially for those traveling or moving to new areas. I think it makes sense for the app to know your location since the point of it is to meet others around you. There are several other apps that ask for similar if not more data. I get the opportunity to chat with new people in person as well as over the phone without having to give strangers any of my personal info. I love love love this app and all the possibilities it will bring!!

The mobile app has a few glitches, but overall I’m really loving Vibely. It’s a great way to connect with like-minded people, especially in the era of COVID-19. I get to interact with others when I’m going stir crazy at home and it makes the isolation more tolerable. I know there are other ways to do this, but I joined a really great community of fellow artists and for me, it’s been a super positive experience.
