For Mac users, there is a text-to-speech program called TalkButton that can aid with both reading comprehension and visual attention. It is an excellent tool for anyone who has reading difficulties, not only dyslexics. Microsoft Word allows you to copy text from virtually any internet or other source and have it read back to you while your eyes follow along in a number of accents or languages. To make it easier for your eyes to follow along as the text is being read, you can even have the words highlighted individually by word or line. The reader's needs can be met by adjusting the reading speed, so whether you need to swiftly scan an article or read through material leisurely. In order to fit the reader's pace, the program even automatically scrolls the text. TalkButton can also turn a text file into an audio file in iTunes so you may listen to the recorded text while on the move on your iPhone. Any language learning disability can benefit from this program, which also has applications for learning other languages and people who have visual impairments. I was struggling with the massive shift to online education during a pandemic. I thought a high student engagement was a dream that could never become a reality during remote sessions. But voila! I share a collaborative whiteboard from LiveBoard with my students during the online sessions, and I can see how engaged they are in working on the same task with a group. A true treasure pot for those who view online education as a challenge! I would like to have a video call feature that will allow me to start a video lesson directly from LiveBoard, without other communication tools like Zoom or Google Meet.

his has the potential to be a great tool for teachers. I hope you keep improving it. Way too many issues. Need a cut and paste feature. Can't lock a session and use video in same session. Video capabilities weak when trying to save. Trouble enrolling too many students. Here's what teachers want: you can pull up a document, then you can write on it and talk while you are teaching. Then we save it and send to students. Thank you for your efforts.
