You can customize the pronunciation and replace abbreviations or other text in your blocks with the Voiceover Studio
The text is easily replaceable and the pronunciation of words can be customized in the text blocks with the Speechify Voiceover Studio. Here is how.
- Highlight the word that you want to replace or customize pronunciation for in the text box.
- You will see the options 'Replace Text' and 'Pronunciation' in the toolbar on the right side of the screen.
- To replace text, simply enter the alternate text that you'd like your voice to speak under 'Replace Text' instead of your highlighted word in the text box and press 'Enter'.
- To customize pronunciation, highlight the word in the text box, click on 'Pronunciation' and input the IPA format of the word and press 'Enter'.
- Listen to the sample of your text box by clicking on the play button to the right of the text box.
