Absolutely excellent. I am audio learner and have a hard time focusing but when I read along with an audio book I have a much easier time staying focused and comprehending. Huge time saver!

Sometimes you just want to multitask and you can do other mundane things while taking in an article or a book. What a great invention. Love this app. After realizing I’m an auditory learner about 6 years ago, I started to devour books on Audible but wished there was something for articles or other written text. I am glad I discovered Speechify. It is going to be life changing. I just can’t stop trying to gain knowledge and squeeze every minute out of my day for learning. I have trouble reading… and retaining something without hearing it on repeat.. I’m amazed I figured out that doing both helps immensely, and this app slows me to do that when books on kindle won’t. Also helps with reading anything you can take a picture of!

I’ve always learned more when hearing and seeing the words are done together

I read so much text but I often find my mind drifting if I don’t have an audible reinforce for the articles and books that I am reading. This app wonderfully allows me to read books and magazine in their printed form.

I’ve just started using this app, but have been impressed with the ability to scan several pages in a book and then almost instantly have it read back to me much quicker than I naturally read. I’m an auditory learner that has needed glasses for most of my life (despite lasik which only provided temporary release from lenses). Reading long passages can cause fatigue, while listening allows me to take notes and sketch concepts that would otherwise be impossible to do while reading.

I tend to zone out when reading academic articles and texts books and need to have them reading to me with highlighted words. I feel this gives an interactive and engaging spin on academics. It also help the info I’m reading “stick” by combining reading, hearing, and visually seeing the words on screen. This app is great for those that learn like I do.

I recently got back into school and I quickly found out how much I miss normal in-class sessions. All my classes are online and while I thought all classes were zoom-calls or at least video lectures, I was wrong. Most of my lectures are typed out and between that and a book I find myself really struggling to understand it without hearing it. Now once I found Speechify and saw how many voice options there is I knew it would be perfect! As soon as I got my documents downloaded I was able to take notes while listening like a normal class lecture. It’s even better in some ways because I can actually go back and repeat parts I missed or didn’t understand quite yet. I think the only thing that would make this app even better is the ability to view Speechify in split-screen. I’m not sure how it works for different platforms but I have an I-Pad Pro. So far I have just been viewing the lecture on the Files app in split screen while I type notes in the other. I’d like to be able to interact with Speechify in split-screen instead. Thank you for making this app though! It helped me get back on track for college!

I don’t usually post reviews for anything I use or buy but this app does work. If you are looking to just listen to something rather than read it than get this app.

I’m an audible learner. Speechify helps me to comprehend readings better than I am capable of reading the text silently.

I use this program on a daily basis it does 98% of my reading. I to have trouble with comprehension I learned by seeing and reading so this is perfect my thirst for knowledge and speechify great

I’ve always preferred audio because I can read fast and now this combines both because used to challenge myself and read to myself out loud and now someone else can do it for me and. I can challenge myself so I can learn more! Love this app and I’m barely beginning!!!

I can read but retention is my problem. I’ve always been best at listening and hands on when it comes to learning. I’m excited to dive in and learn more. Thanks Cliff. You ROCK!

I can read fine, but I find listening way more engaging. Speechify allows me to “read” longer without losing focus.
