I definitely had a problem reading growing up, I could read the words perfectly but I couldn’t retain what the story was about. I would get yelled at for not being able to answer questions about the book. I outgrew it thankfully but it was a really hard time. Fast forward, I have an 8yr daughter who is going through the exact same problem and I got a note from her teacher that she’s not excelling academically in reading. Even though she can read every word perfectly.. I’m so excited to use this app with her to see if it helps improve her reading.

I use this app to help teach my kids how to read! Oh and I pre-load my contracts so I can listen to them on the way to work!! Trust me on this…worth every penny.

I love to read but have a hard time trying to catch up with all the great books many people hand me. Not to mention my own library so the books just stack up and I really never get to them. I am really hoping speechify can help me when I’m walking the dog or driving that I can catch up on my reading! The only problem is some of the quirky things speechify picks up when you scan pages. It seems to send out a little gibberish between certain paragraphs and separates words into two words instead of one. But the general use is very helpful for me as a Bible teacher where I can put my notes into Speechify and hear my teaching read back to me.

I was dreading reading this long story but Speechify got it done now I can go ahead and take my college quiz.

As a collage student this app has helped me so much with my learning. I understand a lot more when being read to. I am now able to read more efficiently and effectively without constantly having to ask for my parents help. Thank you speechify!

I would like it for both of my boys not sure I can afford it but I’m going to look into it it looks amazing and very beneficial

I have international students and this is great to use for assignments and follow along as we annotate notes.

It’s incredible how such a small change in the way you receive information can change how you learn. I always knew that there was more than one way, I’m glad Cliff figured it out for us. I’ve never been formally diagnosed but everything he says is how I feel. I wish it was around when I was in college early 90’s and I hope it will help my son who started his college career amid the pandemic. I haven’t introduced him to it yet but I intend on it. I loved hearing/reading how much and for how long Cliff’s parents supported him, it gives me hope because I will never give up on my sons either!

I’m so excited to continue using this app.! My students need to listen to a text being read to them when they have trouble comprehending. It’s difficult to find ebooks for every book. I can’t be everywhere at once and this will give me another station to help them. As a teacher, I also spend hours reading student writing and this will be helpful for multitasking. Sometimes you just need to read an essay or story, but don’t have the time to focus ONLY on that, especially with a toddler at home or dishes to do.

Cliff, my daughter has been diagnosed with dyslexia in 2nd grade. I am so thankful to have potentially found something that will help her learn and progress in school without tears. Thank you from this mother’s heart.

The story behind this app is truly inspiring. As an ESL student I struggled to finish my reading assignments and this app is very helpful. Thanks Cliff for making this great and useful app.

This app knows no bounds. I’ve been able to use it for my own professional development this summer and I’m SO excited to start using it with my middle schoolers this year. Does the app translate text?! Bc that would be next level cool.

App it good getting my studying done faster

Speechify has already been helping me read through academic papers but truly came to my rescue when I needed to read several books that are not available in audio. My brain struggles to read words so much that I would have avoided reading these books that are integral to my research. But now all these amazing ideas are accessible to me. Thank you for opening up a whole world for me!
