11 audiobooks books that will change your life

As you transition through life, you’ll need some motivation once in a while. Sometimes you may feel like nothing’s going according to plan. It’s also easy to get too comfortable in the present and forget your long-term goals.

When this happens, a great book may be all you need to get your life back on track. The good news is that there are plenty of life-changing books you could try.

This article lists 11 of the best self-improvement audiobooks to help you work on your discipline, finances, productivity, and happiness.

    The books that change lives

    I Am by Howard Falco

I Am, a New York Times bestseller by Howard Falco, helps you explore the meaning of life and the role you’re meant to play in the world.

In the book, Falco recounts his own journey to self-discovery. He started off as an investment manager at one of the top banks in the U.S., but in his words, his life “lacked meaning” until he discovered the path to self-awareness.

Falco strives to set you on a path toward self-realization by revealing the unlimited opportunities that can be unlocked by simply harnessing the power of time management.

The 4-Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss

The 4-Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferriss is all about achieving more while working less.

Ferriss is of the view that most entrepreneurs are only able to unlock a small fraction of their potential. He argues that you can work fewer hours and still increase your productivity.

Ferriss advocates for a number of changes for anyone who wants to work less and yet achieve more: outsourcing, automation, and working from home.

The book is available on Amazon and other e-commerce platforms.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson

In this bestselling self-help book, author and podcast host Mark Manson tears into the idea that positive thinking is the ultimate key to success and happiness.

According to him, not all flaws or limitations can be turned around to create the stepping stones toward success. Instead, you should embrace your weaknesses and capitalize on other opportunities without regard to what everyone else thinks.

This book presents a “bare knuckles” discourse that doesn’t sugarcoat or prevaricate. It may be just what you need to finally live your best life by only focusing on the things that matter.

Big Magic—Creative Living Beyond Fear by Elizabeth Gilbert

Written by Elizabeth Gilbert, Big Magic encourages readers to unleash their full potential by embracing curiosity and confronting their deepest fears.

Gilbert discusses the attitude and habits you need in order to discover your creative self and crack open a new world full of pleasure, excitement, and joy.

This book would be great for anyone stuck with stark career choices after high school.

When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi

If you’re looking for some inspiration to help you make the most of every moment of your life, When Breath Becomes Air should be at the top of your reading list.

It’s a non-fiction autobiography that documents the life and times of Paul Kalanithi, an experienced neurosurgeon diagnosed with cancer while in his prime.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki

This New York Times runaway bestseller reveals the tips and tricks used by successful people to create wealth.

It tears apart the idea that the rich are born rich and that your life’s fortunes are dependent on where you come from. It also advocates financial independence, self-discipline, and creating a well-diversified investment portfolio.

    Beloved by Toni Morrison

Set in the aftermath of the American Civil War, this book tells the story of a former slave who just can’t seem to get over the ghosts from her past.

Morrison combines history and the power of imagination to craft a deeply moving story that will get you hooked right from the start.

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle

The main premise of The Power of Now is that the present moment is all that exists and that by living fully in the present moment, we can achieve inner peace and happiness.

Tolle argues that the mind is constantly creating thoughts about the past and future, which causes us to live in a state of anxiety and stress.
