How to Take Notes Within Speechify

With its built-in Notes and Highlights features, you can mark key passages, jot down thoughts, and keep everything organized without ever leaving the app. Here’s how to access Speechify’s note-taking features: 

How to Take Notes Within the Speechify Web App

  1. Visit app.speechify.com and create an account.
  2. From the left-hand menu, click "New" to start a project.
  3. Upload or import the text you’d like Speechify to read aloud.
  4. To highlight or add a note, select the portion of text you want to mark.
  5. Right-click and choose a highlight color.
  6. Select "Add a Note," type your message, and click "Done."
  7. To review your highlights and notes, click the "Pencil" icon in the upper-left corner, then choose "Highlights & Notes."

How to Take Notes Within the Speechify iOS App

  1. Download the Speechify iOS app from the App Store and sign up for an account.
  2. From the Home screen, upload or enter the content you’d like Speechify to read.
  3. To add a note or highlight, drag across the text you want to mark.
  4. Right-click and select a highlight color.
  5. Tap "Add a Note," type your message, and tap "Done."
  6. To review your annotations, tap the "Pencil" icon in the upper-left corner and select "Highlights & Notes."
