Talkia is an intuitive interface and works with All Video software programs to customize voice type, pitch and speed. I recommend getting this as it's a one-time fee.

Horrible support. Every time they update Talkia I have a problem entering my account and every time they ask me the credit card numbers expiration date date of purchase etc… Impossible to use this program without starting from beginning every time again and again.

This week Voicepods launched a free Chrome extension that will let you have the text of any webpage read aloud. There are other Chrome extensions that do the same. What makes Voicepods different is that while Voicepods reads the text of webpage it also makes a recording that you can save and playback whenever you want
