The best story about developing an app that I have ever heard during my 74 years on the planet! As a lifelong entrepreneur ADHD practitioner challenged early in life with the inability to read until the sixth grade I found great joy and pleasure listening to the creation of speechify!!! I had no idea there was such a wonderful app!!! Especially since I am an audio learner and with my time schedule building company I don’t always have time to read. Wow what a gift thanks if we can ever be of service please let us know. Founder of BrainGuided.com

Have difficulty reading because the lines keep consolidating and out loud readers seem to be too Fast for my 96 year old brain. But with speechify I can control the speed and the quality of the voice of the out loud reader!! It is a brave new world for me!! Thanks

I had no idea that dyslexia came with ADHD typically. What is self motivator and self learner you are. Oh I am an entrepreneur in medical massage therapy.I own my own business. And it’s thriving. I remember and still do have to read every a, and, and theIn the paragraph and still I didn’t retain that well. I am now 62 years old and listen to books more than I do read them. And I have friends who can benefit from your app also. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! For doing the hard work for us; putting your gifts and talents to good use. Have a great day, Cliff❣️

At my age (56), I find it a little harder to stay focused in my reading skills. I love reading textbooks and articles; it’s something I did without getting tired easily. Thank God for technology today… I am able to substitute with the Speechify app; I am able to focus on my reading, comprehension, and multitasking! ♥️

This app has helped me and I am 55 years old if it wasn’t for it there will be books I would’ve never heard of or let them things I would’ve never learned TikTok has helped me develop as well it’s unbelievable the things that people don’t believe in like dyslexia and then ADHD let alone the fact that there’s intermittent explosive disorder mental illness can affect us even an hour in learning these are the reasons why the tragedies I have gone through have taught me to become the person I am today and I don’t know what I would’ve done without my father you know he wasn’t my biological father he adopted me at the age of 20 myself two sisters and a brother the age range was unbelievable five years six years 10 years apart and he stuck it out until the very end when his heart finally gave out from something they’ve just recently diagnosed it’s unbelievable does anybody really know about ODD oppositional defiant disorder this is a new one without a doubt my son was diagnosed with it and it can be scary trust me …MISSDAWG08

I also am a person that falls asleep while reading. I am 57 years old and really could have used this in high school and college. I could read well enough to have good grades, however this would have made everything easier and I wouldn’t have had to struggle reading things over and over again. I look forward to using this a lot. Never too old to keep educating yourself. Thanks!

Thank you Cliff, I just turned 56 years old but even though I’m just now starting this reading journey at this age it will be worth it. I can see myself going through my course with a better understanding of what I read. I’m so happy, thank you from the bottom of my dyslexic heart. Please never stop improving this app because it will only continue to change lives for the better.

Rarely have I used an app that was so much more than expected. I have difficulty maintaining my attention when I read something longer than a page or two. I am 78 years old and have had this problem since my forties(chronic depression). Speechify has greatly improved my reading ability.

Wow! This app is incredible. I have struggled with reading all of my life and I am 55 years old. I love to write and I love to read in such a struggle to do what I love. This app makes it so easy!

Since first grade I remember peering out the window, it was the first level window on the end of the building. Outside was the playground—merry-go-round and swings! I had a very difficult time paying attention. I never knew why! When mother worked with me with my reading she was so frustrated she would say I was stupid. It discouraged me and followed me through those developing years, through college into my adult life and even today reading and my attention span present a challenge. I came accept myself and learned to work with what I had. I’ve been a rather happy man, husband, father, grand and G-grandpa over these last 50 years. But I have never abandoned working at self improvement. So I’m thinking that you might understand by now my interest in Speechify! Keep up the good work! :-) Always seeking to build bridges; never to construct walls!

I am 70 years old. I’m not sure how I stumbled upon speechify, but it is helpful for me to digest more information easily.

I used to be voracious reader. I worked in a high powered stressful job for 30 years. I’ve always had to struggle reading as my eyes dart all over the page. Now in retirement, I hope to have the time to read for enjoyment. I am hoping this program will help me overcome the dyslexia with the tools designed. I’m excited to begin the process! Karla M.
