This is life changing for my students in upper elementary and on when they have to start reading to learn, not just learn to read anymore. What a gift! Teachers, parents and students- take the time to learn about this assistive technology! You are not giving them a crutch; you are giving them wings to fly and they deserve it just like everyone else.

Not only is the App amazing, but the PURPOSE and Story behind it is something I can both identify with due to my son having issues with reading, and SUPPORT due to so many people needing this. AMAZING

I have ADHD and my triplet daughters have varying degrees of Dyslexia, ADHD, ADD, and autism. Spring & Autumn are good students and do well in school. Summer is my dyslexic daughter and she struggles at math, instructions, reading, word problems and paying attention (absorbing) while she reads. I think this app would be perfect for her! Unfortunately I’m an unemployed single mom of 3 surviving a pandemic so budget is too tight for us right now! This app should be integrated into teaching curriculum. As a teacher (within the last few years) I went through a workshop where we walked through different simulations of what it was like to try to read/write and learn with dyslexia, and wow, not only students with dyslexia but this app is something that can help in the classroom on so many levels. Thankfully this is something that is now recognized in that learning content doesn’t need to only happen one way. I personally do not have dyslexia but do have reading disabilities and had my eyes checked as a kid because i struggled with reading. I look forward to using this app for my graduate course readings and actually making it through books i would like to read. Thank you for creating this app.

This app has been a blessing in disguise. I first downloaded this app for my son who has brain damage and a cognitive learning disability. It has worked wonders to help him in school. I am a mother of 8 and time is not my friend. I would not have gotten through college without it. I am very thankful for this app.

I’m dyslexic in this is so helpful I think my son is having the same problem so I will put this on his computer this is a blessing to have this. I’m so happy I could cry cause people don’t understand how it feel to be like this and it’s nothing you can do without but try your best to over come it the best you can. I love this app I use it to read to the kids before they go to bed and they get a good book in and doze off pretty nicely thanks speechify!

This app is awesome Saves so much time and We want to thank you because now our special needs 3rd grader daughter can read along with her favorite chapter books independently. That’s one amazing feeling.

I’m going to try to get my Daughter reading level higher. So far so good. She seems very interested and this is the first time she is excited to read a book.

It definitely helps me with my readings; as well as my children with their books & homework. ❤️ ❤️ We’re grateful to have come across this & frequently put use to it lol. (I wish this app was around when I was younger, it would have made reading comprehension less complicated for me.)

My 34 y.o. son sent me the link to your app. He said yours is his story too, and this certainly taps into the way he learns best. Since learning of his Dyslexia his 3rd grade year, I’ve been a student re Dyslexia, and a trained tutor for kids/some adults who have reading, writing, spelling challenges. This is a game changer! Thank you for being the person, with the tools to share, that you needed when you were growing up!

This is so helpful! Great idea! I teach college students and I’m sure they will love this tool. I wish I had something like this when I was a student.

I hope this will help my son with school and add reading as a leisure activity instead of a punishment.

My daughter, son, and I are all Dyslexic, AND I’m an elementary teacher with Reading Specialist Level 1 Certification; Speechify is a DREAM! We use it multiple times a day as a family and also for my Reading students. There are a few blips here and there with the speed or words that are skipped over, but overall, this has saved my family, my students, parents and administrators time, time, time! ALL of my students became more fluent on reading their leveled text and accuracy improved within one month of listening to Speechify. I got the same results with my daughter and son at home. It's easy to use and navigate and if you have questions the website is helpful. Although the annual fee is high, I think it ‘s worth it. I highly recommend Speechify for Teachers, Reading Specialists, Parents, Children with learning differences, or ANYONE who doesn't have the TIME to sit and read text.

Assistive technology is key for my HS aged son. Cliff, your story is amazing, inspiring and you sound exactly like my 16 year old son. He uses a suite of technologies depending on the application. Hope these apps continue to be streamlined and easy to integrate from reading menus to writing a term paper.
