Hearing your writing spoken back to you in a voice that isn’t yours helps to give you a more unbiased opinion of your own work. It also helps in catching spelling errors and sentences that may need to be reworked.

I love this app. I can see how it would be useful for students to study if they have reading difficulties. But it also is great for reviewing your own writing because we tend to fill in the blanks subconsciously when we are reading. When I hear my own writing read back to me, I catch typographical errors and other issues more readily. It has really helped me to improve my writing! I had some problems with the app at first, but it came down to me misunderstanding the premium plan. The support team is very responsive.

I just finished my book I read over and over then I let this app read it over … I was able to adjust the speed and choice what kind of voice I want a female or male and some have different accents… I was able to relax my brain and able to listen to my story through my ears … of course but its very helpful and you can tell if your book good or not just by listening to it

As an author of the book myself, it was really neat to see my book come to life being read out loud. And this program helped it to become real. Even to myself.

I am an avid reader and writer with chronic migraine so I really can’t spend a lot of time reading on my own. This helps me get my research done for my next greatest novel, and I get to listen to some of my favorite stories without aggravating my eyes and head. Excellent app! It truly is a life saver!

This is such an awesome product. My mind moves so fast that my eyes and mouth cannot keep up normally. So at least now I have something to challenge me and move through learning text and documents much faster. It actually works extremely well especially if you were following with your eyes and have the voice going to the faster mode. It will start to pick up everything you’re looking at and your brain will process the sound a couple milliseconds later. I love it! I think this is the next best thing. Any type of artificial intelligence or real intelligence that our brain can pick up will process. the Brain can increase brain power, memory skills and most likely help combat dementia and Alzheimer’s. Not to mention… make you smarter faster lol.

As an ADHD writer with a number of troubles when it comes to reading and comprehension being able to listen to my stories read by a voice that is not my own is a game changing experience. Can’t thank the creators of speechify enough for everything they do!
