How Premium trials work

Premium is often offered with a short trial, free or discounted, usually 3 or 7 days. A trial is not the free plan. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it renews as a paid Premium subscription. If you only want the free plan, skip the trial and keep using the free version. To stop a subscription, see how to cancel your Premium or trial subscription.

Is Speechify Premium worth it?

It depends on how much you listen. The free plan is enough for short articles, emails and the occasional document. Premium is worth it if you listen for long stretches, want natural voices, listen faster than 1.5x, or need to scan printed pages. Annual billing is the cheaper way to pay: $139 a year works out to about $11.58 a month, against $29 on monthly billing.
