Halloween Night books one and two feature Brenda as the main character.

In the first book, Brenda is planning a Halloween party with her friends, but she’s also planning to murder her cousin Hailey because she constantly interferes in her life. The book describes the events from the jokingly “Ugh, I could kill her” to an elaborate scheme to commit the murder during the party.

In the second book, Brenda is the one who’s being terrorized. Every chapter is filled with interesting events and cliffhangers that lead to an unexpected ending.

Monster Blood

Monster Blood is the third part of the Goosebumps series and the first part of the Monster Blood saga.

In this book, Evan Ross, a 12-year-old boy, goes into an old toy store called Wagner’s Novelties & Sundries and finds a tin of monster blood. Although the shop assistant tries to dissuade him from purchasing the tin, Evan buys it anyway.

Evan’s dog Trigger ends up eating some monster blood, leading to disastrous consequences.

The Haunted Mask

The Haunted Mask is the eleventh book in the original Goosebumps series. The story’s main character, Carly Beth, buys a Halloween mask from a store. When she puts it on, she starts acting differently. To her dismay, Carly realizes that she can’t take the mask off.

Stine said he got the inspiration for the story from his son, who once put a Frankenstein mask on his face and wasn’t able to pull it off.
