Reading Machine, a new app recently featured by Apple, raises the bar for beginning readers. This software supports the reading process by demonstrating how the letters and sounds in a word go together, thus reducing reader irritation. When a child encounters a word that he cannot read and is unfamiliar with, he enters it into the reading machine. The app sounds out the word so that the youngster can try to decipher it by fusing the sounds together to form the word. The app has a dictionary with over 5,000 terms. He can then express the entire word when “asking” for more assistance. Children may find it challenging to learn to read, particularly if they have dyslexia or another learning disability. The saddest aspect is that your child might not receive the support they require from books alone. Among other difficulties, books may utilize strange sentence structures or fail to describe complex words. Thankfully, Reading Machine can assist with these problems. Reading Machine provides text-to-speech, phonics support, and a superb dictionary of widely used English terms to assist young readers who are having trouble understanding what they are reading. Over 125 books for beginner readers are available on the app. Additionally, it gives you reading lists based on your child’s interests and proficiency. On the Apple App Store, Reading Machine is available for no cost.
