Help for those who are blind is offered through this addon.
When you click on webpage text, it reads it aloud using the Audio API and a Text-To-Speech service.
Utilizing Canvas post-processing, it also improves image contrast (thanks to Pixastic library, under Mozilla Public Licence).
Click the speaker icon in the extensions toolbar to turn the reader on or off. Depending on whether it is on, you must click on a text paragraph and wait for the audio.
You might not be able to use this extension in your native tongue because it uses the built-in speech engine in Chrome.

I could not make it work. Ironically, I deleted it. Tried to leave a review, it wouldn't let me leave a review unless I had it installed. Ha! So I reinstalled it just so I could leave the review. It doesn't work. Maybe it used to, but it definitely doesn't now.
