There are other programs that offer spell check but I enjoy after the deadline simply because of other features such as smart suggestions. At this time I can't find anything that I don't like.

About After the Deadline

After the Deadline is a web application that provides free grammar and spelling checking services. It is a tool that runs in the cloud and makes use of intelligent open source technology to first identify errors and then provide intelligent recommendations. It also ensures that writers use the appropriate words for their contents by processing paragraphs and sentences in order to determine if the words being used are the words that are meant to be used or if they are some other words. Because of this, there are fewer instances of words being used incorrectly, which results in clearer writing. On top of that, After the Deadline is an application that not only corrects errors, but it also provides explanations for why those errors were made in the first place. This helps writers learn more about proper grammar and language usage. Writers are able to pick up new rules as a result of this, remember them well enough to use them in their subsequent works, and keep them fresh in their minds. The primary advantages of utilizing After the Deadline are that it does not cost anything to do so, it is built on an open source code architecture, and it is an adaptable application, which enables it to be integrated into a wide variety of different platforms and apps. In comparison to the vast majority of language checking tools available on the internet, this application's price point is significantly more reasonable. Users won't have to pay After the Deadline's standard monthly or yearly subscription fees, as is the case with most other applications of its kind. It offers them sophisticated grammar and style checking services at no additional cost. Developers are provided with the opportunity to use the tools by embedding it into whatever application they are developing as a result of the use of an architecture that is based on open source code. They also have the ability to change the rules if they have requirements for their language standards that are more specific. Before making their products available to the general public, companies can use this to ensure that their content is free of grammatical mistakes and, as a result, protect their reputations and avoid any potential embarrassment. Because it is accessible through the web, After the Deadline does not call for any kind of download on the part of its users. It is possible to use the application straight from web browsers such as Firefox, Chrome, and others. Additionally, it is compatible with the OpenOffice productivity suite and can be used with that. Before submitting their work to their instructors, professors, superiors, or anyone else, users are able to check their own contents for any errors that they may have introduced. In addition to this, After the Deadline is compatible with a variety of other applications, such as BuddyPress, Live Writer, Windows Live, and others. Users can feel confident about whatever they are typing because this provides them with an all-encompassing solution for checking their language usage, regardless of the platform they are using. While you are writing on the internet, you can use a cool add-on called After the Deadline to check and correct your spelling and grammar. After the Deadline is a slick Firefox add-on that will help you make sure that there are no errors in the text that you type, regardless of whether you are filling out forms, writing emails, or even just updating your status on Facebook. It has a wide variety of configurable options, including the capability to check a variety of optional grammatical points, such as clichés and biased language. It also has a nice selection of configuration options.

I really like the analysis of claims, including checking for errors and checking antecedent basis. I use it for office actions and new patent applications. It also has other useful utilities like creating summaries of the claims, checking a patent application, and showing claim trees in graphical form.

After the Deadline reviews

I like the fact "After the Deadline" is a Cloud Based Software that helps edit doucuments and other writing matertials online. My company creates a lot of content and making sure things are correct before publishing helps out a lot. I love the fact it uses intelligence to figure out a word is the word you meant to use. The software is smarter then the writer at times. I also like the cost of the software pretty afforable.

I can’t recommend After The Deadline as a grammar and spell checker. It works well enough through its website and has a great handle on punctuation and grammar. I think if it were being updated regularly it could be a great way to teach grammar rules to people in many different languages. But there were some serious red flags. They have shady downloads, no plagiarism detector, no mobile app, and the system hasn’t been updated in years. That’s a shame because I genuinely liked using it on the website as an editing tool. The website still exists, but with the WordPress plugin shutting down in May 2019 after eight years of no updates, it’s clear that this is a dead brand that is not actively keeping pace with the grammar checking industry. I’ll stick with my Grammarly account.

ClaimMaster reviews

Antecedent checking for claims. This is terrific. After you have checked your claims, the software can then enumerate every place in the specification where support can be found. Likewise, it can check part numbers and verify them versus the drawings. This is especially good for finding slight, unintended shifts in terminology. Finally, the software does a great job of manipulating claimsets during prosecution.

ClaimMaster provides key application and claim review functionality for patent and office action drafting. The time saving utilities (claim renumbering, status indicator updating, etc.) are also very helpful. The ability to work offline is key in some instances.

I do wish the parsing features worked a little more rapidly, or more in the background - I can't use Word while they operate. I also get several false positives from antecedent basis and drawing reference number checks. These are easy to ignore, but would be great to resolve or customize.
