Avocode vs Zeplin

In our company, we struggled with our design file management because few designers work on Photoshop, few with Sketch, some with Figma and there wasn't one place where we can put everything so it could be organized. I found out AVOCODE have this File Management System and I immediately told it our to my team, since then - everything has changed toward more productive work.

Overall, Avocode is a useful tool for communicating design details between designers and developers, with robust navigation tools at the artboard level. However, limitations on its style guide and organization capabilities leave it lacking compared to competitors.

"The glory days of Zeplin are over" What do you like best about Zeplin? Zeplin changed the redline game. UX designers went from manually specifying comps and drawing out the pixel parameters between components to uploading a screen with a single click and allowing a software to do it all for them. Don't get me wrong, this is still and was a highly sought out after tool that added so much value in my team's workflow, but the tool has become laggy since we've been adding so many screens and projects to it, and has fallen behind as a solution ever since Figma started ramping up their dev to design handoff features. And there is no lag to Figma, so of course we would rather choose to use their tool from now on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Zeplin solving and how is that benefiting you? Pretty much as stated before, the manual redlining and design spec process is so arduous that Zeplin has helped automate the process so designers can spend more time doing their actual job. Zeplin also helped with cross-project transparency and it served as a source of truth for us.

"Best tool to give your prototypes a new life" What do you like best about Zeplin? I came into know about zeplin during a prototype development in figma. It helped me in a way that cannot be explainable in single words and for that reason I do not able find a single mistake in this tool. But I think there might be some bugs in the mobile version. It helps our team to save time and work effectively than before. The flowchart creation feature is awesome.
