“Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today.“

Avoma is a Game Changer! What do you like best about Avoma? We've recorded our meetings in Zoom for a while now. We saved the recordings to review later but would have to listen to the entire call or note the time something was said so we could share with a colleague or client later. With Avoma, every recorded call is automatically and translated with AI. Speakers are identified. Keywords, that are important to us, are tracked. Transcriptions are searchable. We can create short snippets of recordings to share with team members or clients - no more listening to entire recordings!!
Rebecca G.Avoma is an AI Meeting Assistant, Collaboration and Intelligence platform for Sales, Implementation, and Customer Success teams. Despite the fact that Briar is one of the most exciting messengers on paper, it’s tough to prophesize it as the new step in the field simply because it’s not likely to make waves outside of the infosec community. There’s also the problem of Briar being far less effective until it’s popular, which means it has to get popular while operating at a third of its potential. It’s a built-in handicap and it’s not one that’s easy to circumvent. Traditional messengers like Telegram and Signal don’t have such shackles and thus come out on top in the race.
Darren KrilnBriar is a messaging app that was developed specifically for journalists, activists, and anybody else who requires a secure, simple, and reliable method of communication. Briar is not like other messaging apps since it does not rely on a centralized server to store messages; instead, messages are synchronized directly between the smartphones of its users. In the event that the internet is unavailable, Briar may sync with other devices using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, allowing the flow of information to continue even during an emergency. Briar is able to sync via the Tor network, which shields its users and the relationships they maintain from being monitored by third parties when the internet is operational. The application enables users to communicate with one another through private messaging, groups, forums, and blogs. The application itself has support for the Tor network. Unless you choose to share what you've done in Briar with other users, everything you do in the app is solely saved on the device you're using. There are no adverts, and your activity cannot be tracked in any way. The application's source code is totally open for anybody to inspect, and it has already been inspected by a professional organization. Because it is feasible to reproduce any release of Briar, it is possible to check that the disclosed source code precisely matches the program that has been published on this site. The development is carried out by a small team that is not for profit.
"Avoma has helped us immensely as an organization" What do you like best about Avoma? We've been using Avoma for the past year - it seamlessly records and transcribes every meeting that our organization has. It has enabled us to be more transparent as an organization and saved us countless hours in terms of documentation and follow-up. In numerous ways, Avoma has helped us eliminate misunderstandings on our clients needs & desires - and quickly unlock value by looking at conversational trends between clients and prospects in relation to our products and services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Avoma? Like any tool providing conversational analysis right now, sometimes Avoma's transcripts don't capture the right speaker or the nuanced use of language. However, we've seen constant improvement in the product - and as these technologies evolve I expect that this will continue to improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Avoma solving and how is that benefiting you? The challenge we had was providing ongoing recording and transcription of calls for our own purposes, but also for our clients who wanted such a record, particularly when we were providing education or insights into our findings during a program evalution. Avoma has helped us do that seamlessly and without thinking about having to hit record, obtain a transcript, generate notes, and then share them with the client.

"Excellent video call recording software" What do you like best about Avoma? It's just really easy to find the important points of a long meeting. Notes you make during the meeting are time-stamped so you can find the moment a particular note was taken. Being able to search for a words on the transcript makes it breathtakingly easy to find any point in the conversation. This tool has revolutionised the effectiveness of our company meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Like a superstar athlete, you need to review your game film" What do you like best about Avoma? I love using Avoma. It is amazing being able to go back and watch my calls again to make sure I catch everything a customer is saying. It also helps me to review what I said (I use the phrase "you know" WAY more than I ever thought I did. It has also been helpful taking over accounts for previous reps so I can see the previous conversation that way I do not go into a call blind. I also like how I can take the call to my manager for coaching support, feedback, and ask them what they would have done differently.

Probably the most secure messaging app out of any available, great idea! Unfortunately it will not be a good replacement for more popular messaging apps anytime soon. There is no way to send a video. Pictures are possible, but only in a chat with one other person and they get massively compressed. Pretty crazy in 2022. I love the idea of my messages not being routed through a central server, but it's not ready to replace my messaging app of choice. I'll check back in a few years.

I would like to see a pop-up chat head. If I'm not looking at the screen I will miss the flash notification across the top. I have missed a reply for hours. I like adding the contact without using my phone number. I was using TextNow and Text free but the constant ads drove me crazy! I think this is a good app.
- Arthur Brenneman
This is probably one of the best messaging apps ever. I didn't even know a messaging app ever existed without using data . I installed this app into two phones and turned off Wi-Fi off for both of them and only left Bluetooth on. The app worked perfectly and no delayed text messages. I never knew that text messaging apps existed without ever having to use data or a Wi-Fi connection. I'm glad this technology exists because this would be very good in an emergency situations. Love this technology.
