ClickDimensions is the missing marketing piece for Dynamics 365 CRM What do you like best about ClickDimensions? I personally like that CD has a superb built-in email editor and the dynamic insertion selections for personalization are outstanding - allowing a very rich and robust personalization to any emails, sequences and automations. The automation builder is a bit complex but worth the learning curve and handles everything with precision and all the options you need for marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about ClickDimensions? My only dislike that I have found is that you cannot import a list of existing accounts to add all contacts to a marketing list. We have account level reporting that sometimes has a need to email all-hands at an account and there is no easy way to cull from an existing list report from other systems... No workaround that I found so I had to build a desktop macro to pull from a spreadsheet and post into the search field and then add to a pre-made marketing list. The automations allows us to nurture leads better and move from one list to another when they engage on anything and setup activities for our sales teams automatically.

Six Years In and Still Happy What do you like best about Higher Logic Thrive? I've had nothing but a good experience with HL since we signed on. Set-up was a breeze. The system is very intuitive. The automation rules have saved me countless hours - no need to manually send out welcomes, thank yous, or a bunch of other simple emails. The HigherLogic User Group (HUG) has been a great resource to see what others are doing and crowdsource solutions to simple problems - and anything that's needed to be escalated with a support ticket has been resolved in a timely matter for me. Number one, the automation rules save me time from having to manually send out a ton of emails. Number two, the reports quickly provide a good gauge of the involvement over the listserv/discussion board. This way, I can have an idea of where to adapt some of our strategies. Number three, it's giving members a quick and easy way to interact with each other - increasing the likelihood of their renewal.

ClickDimensions connection with Microsoft Dynamics gives you the ability to create multiple marketing channels and opportunities while saving time. "Great Community Features" What do you like best about Higher Logic Thrive? Higher Logic has a lot of amazing features that help build member engagement. We especially love the ability to build microsites for each of our specialty groups. Our members also love the discussion board, event calendar, member directory, and member resource library features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Higher Logic Thrive? One downside that I've run into is feeling like I need to contact support for items that I wish I could do myself. For example, mass updating the email preferences of our groups. I also wish the reports included more data and would go back further than a month at a time. Higher Logic has a lot of different widget options available to help us personalize the websites and build member engagement. We use the discussion board to allow members to stay engaged with each other and leadership, even through their emails. The member resource library allows our members to share valuable documents and resources. And the member directory gives our members the ability to find each other and connect either through the website or their own email. We use the member directory feature for mentor/mentee searches too. The ability to give our members selective admin privileges also provides our volunteers the opportunity to make edits to their own websites.

"Effective tool for Member Engagement" What do you like best about Higher Logic Thrive? I admit I was skeptical about purchasing Higher Logic Community because I was not sure the benefit would warrant the cost - staff convinced me to try it. Within the first three months, I saw the value of the community, especially for the association board and committees, and began to see the potential for membership engagement. About the same time, the pandemic hit! The community platform was a lifeline for many of our members. The opportunity to engage with each other on the platform was a valuable networking avenue, especially when our members were isolated and disconnected from each other. Now that restrictions regarding work location and travel are being lifted, our members are still using the community at a high engagement rate. "Easy to setup and engagement building" What do you like best about Higher Logic Thrive? The setup is very intuitive and easy even for a non-coder. The support staff and the HUB community are efficient in answering any questions or resolving any issues. The community is also user-friendly for our diverse membership. Intergration with Dynamics CRM actually turns out to be a disadvantage, as the system is constrained heavily in its utility by how Dynamics runs
For example, creating marketing lists for segmentation is particularly arduous if Contacts and Lead entities are in use.Clickdimensions relies on Dynamics business processes to run automation events, which means if there's a lot going on then it can snarl up the CRM server significantly.Getting data imported into CRM and Clickdimensions is extremely clunky - when it doesn't fail entirely, it is often buggy.
