ClickDimensions is the missing marketing piece for Dynamics 365 CRM What do you like best about ClickDimensions? I personally like that CD has a superb built-in email editor and the dynamic insertion selections for personalization are outstanding - allowing a very rich and robust personalization to any emails, sequences and automations. The automation builder is a bit complex but worth the learning curve and handles everything with precision and all the options you need for marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about ClickDimensions? My only dislike that I have found is that you cannot import a list of existing accounts to add all contacts to a marketing list. We have account level reporting that sometimes has a need to email all-hands at an account and there is no easy way to cull from an existing list report from other systems... No workaround that I found so I had to build a desktop macro to pull from a spreadsheet and post into the search field and then add to a pre-made marketing list. Other then this minor issue, the features are enterprise level and superb. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is ClickDimensions solving and how is that benefiting you? The automations allows us to nurture leads better and move from one list to another when they engage on anything and setup activities for our sales teams automatically.

Runs long-running applications really well on Mesos What do you like best about Marathon? Marathon allows you to run long-running applications like web applications on Mesos. There is built-in containerizer support for Mesos and Docker containers. Another underestimated feature of Marathon is the ability to run x number of instances of any application. There are also constraints that allow you to specify things like run one instance on every Mesos agent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Marathon? There's no command-line interface available. The API interface requires a JSON DSL that is significantly different from the Docker CLI that developers are already familiar with. No built-in facility to work with private Docker registries - custom code is required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Marathon: Be prepared to automate the configuration of Marathon with some sort of configuration management in order to save time troubleshooting. Being an open-source project, support and documentation is somewhat spotty so often time's it's faster to destroy and rebuild your Mesos agents rather than trying to troubleshoot Marathon issues. Our current solution is not cost efficient because the PAAS runs one container on each instance. Marathon allows us to use a Mesos cluster to stack many containers on each instance.

We chose MarathonITE to automate our regression pack and it has immensely helped reducing the regression testing from 5 day cycle to a 3 day cycle.

Our entire MarathonITE test suite is in source control (TFS). With this, it is very easy to execute either part of or the entire test suite on multiple test machines in multiple environments. Between new releases of our software, I am able to press play on the test suite for a quick and thorough regression test. Following the completion of the tests, I am able to evaluate a test result report that MarathonITE builds. This report shows any individual tests that failed during execution which allows me to manually investigate why it failed. If you are looking to automate your Java/Swing application, I can attest that this tool will provide you adequate features and functionality. I am excited to see how MarathonITE’s software will improve in the near future.
