"Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today."

At long last... I have tried them all; currently using portions of day one, omnifocus, and microsoft to-do. But none of those had what I really wanted. I imagined an app where I could look at my day and grasp what I wanted to accomplish, not just in terms of tasks and appointments but also goals and some narrative of what I was meant to do on that day. FINALLY this is it. It's feature rich but not overwhelming. I understand that there is a lot more I could do with the app but the tutorials, which are very well done, assume that I already understand backlinking and how to use it in a practical day to day fashion. I don't really get it. So hey, someone fill that gap please. Bottom line: The VERY BEST app I've ever used.

Noteplan 3 was created with the Bullet Journal community in mind. It does this by utilizing linking in both directions to create a network of tasks and notes. Identical to Roam Research in nature. Another app designed specifically for Mac, iPhone, and iPad users is presented here. Noteplan 3 utilizes plain text files formatted in Markdown, has a lightning-fast sync with CloudKit, and integrates with iCal and Reminders. What differentiates Noteplan from competing apps is its use of backlinks. NotePlan is designed to be most useful for keeping daily notes and organizing tasks. The Mac version includes backing linking, which allows you to organize your research using a networked method comparable to the Zettelkasten approach.
I’ve been using this for a while, really good, the general user experience is very nice. It has clean and pretty UI, robust utilities to accommodate basically any function one needs from this sort of website collecting/highlighting apps, and it combines all those features into just one app, making the whole process much easier and quicker, doing it better all the other similar apps in my opinion. I’ve only recently heard that it now can integrate with Notion and sync the highlights, which is really convenient for me because I’m a heavy Notion user, and so I started to use this app more frequently now. The syncing function’s good, easy setup, and the syncing is really fast, I like it a lot. The only thing is that it cannot sync the notes taken along with the highlights, which means that I still have to transfer the notes manually to pair off with every individual highlight in Notion, and that hinders the efficiency a bit. Really hope there would be a note syncing function as well in the future updates, just a personal wish.

Disclaimer: if you’re only looking for a browser, look elsewhere. This app is so much more. Review: I have been looking for ways to integrate with Notion in more meaningful ways. That is where all of my highlights and book notes are kept (syncs with Kindle highlights through Readwise, and my physical notes sync through Readwise). Why I have never heard of this app before, I’ll never know. I was looking for a way to highlight article and take notes without a subscription. I like Pocket, and I have tried Instapaper, but Command Browser has replaced them both. Not only does this natively integrate with Notion (which is so, so cool by the way) but it can ALSO integrate with Readwise (which, by extension, can integrate with Notion for a small annual fee). So now I can natively sync with Notion, or I can choose to integrate with Readwise to preserve my knowledge template there. This is a very long review, but let me make it very simple for you. If you are a Notion user, get this app. Seriously. That simple. You will LOVE IT. And it just works.

Really nice start. I'd really appreciate a few things... 1. More specific update notes please? 2. Notion integration needs fixing in my opinion so that tags made in Command stay attached to specific highlights (as when they are created in Command) ... Currently, when sent to Notion, tags get rolled up into a bundle as a property of a URL and as a result information (that tag X was attached to highlight Y) is LOST. To fix this, I think the Highlights table needs to have each *highlight* as its entity/row/granularity, rather than URL. Ideally a related "Pages" table with URL as base would store page title and page-scope comments. If that's hard (or not possible to auto-populate related fields?) then URL and page title could just be properties of each highlight in the Highlight table, with those values repeated for each highlight in a page. 3. Data protection: I'd love to know somehow that my Notion data isn't being exposed to accidental sharing or even erasing. Maybe Notion limitations make that impossible to guarantee but at least warn us of what could happen by giving you the keys to my data there. 4. Thanks for the handy app!

NotePlan is a critical part of my workflow. I've converted fully to Markdown for all of my notes and NotePlan handles this so well, bringing together my daily agenda items and any associated notes I take.

As a startup founder, I must be as productive as possible. NotePlan is the first app that continues to feel fast and responsive, supporting my full calendar, to-do lists, project plans, and meeting notes! Highly recommended!

Noteplan 3 is unstoppable! Hi there, I recently downloaded this app and fell in love with it at first sight(or use). I have used all other productivity apps out there across both iOS and Mac, but nothing comes close to the features Noteplan provides. The ability to access and modify my notes, tasks and calendar, all in one place, cross-platform is beyond amazing! That is the foremost thing that sets Noteplan apart, in fact, a class apart from all other apps out there. They all seem to be missing one or the other feature and the closest anything has come to meeting that benchmark, is this app. I saw that people were raving about it on Twitter as well and I couldn't help but get this. I am on a free trial right now and I am set to get the paid version of the app in Sep -The fact that I am leaving a review at this stage is only indicative of the HUGE potential and brilliance of this app. I observed also, like one of the other reviewers here, that the development team is quite responsive and I really appreciate the fact. As a fan of this app, you can expect your team hearing from me with inputs and feedback along the way - I want to see this app get better and the best! There is so much potential here and I am in love with this! Thank you for your and the work of your team to make this possible!
