The email notifications. I wish there was a way to select whether a recognition piece will send a notification or not. Our users requested the email notifications to be turned off due to the mass posts we do for 5-star reviews, top # receivers, etc. If we could turn off the email notifications for those particular recognition pieces so that our users don't get 10 notifications back to back, they would know when other users get the one-off recognition pieces. Or maybe even an email notification once a day that covers all recognition sent throughout the day.

Replies text cannot be selected, only copied to the buffer, which means you can't use Google translate right in the app itself. I'm not interested in switching between two apps all the time!! There's no option to rate limit notifications: some customers with ADHD make my blood boil by sending messages every 15 seconds. Overall notifications setup is horrible. Either you get swamped with all of them, or not receive any. Also the app crashes every60min. App data is growing like crazy.No fixes ever

For some reason, they have stopped updating the official App for Android for over a month now. It sort of works, but it is also riddled with bugs and painful to use. The official version has stopped being updated in favor of the Beta branch, which is somehow even worse than the official version. It crashes 8/10 times when you try to open a chat, it's missing various crucial functions that the app is absolutely unusable without.

Since we've moved to a remote-first work environment, it's turned our monthly recognition meetings into a place where we give each other kudos almost daily. Our company has several different departments, so it's easy to engage with each team and give "props" to folks we wouldn't normally interact with. I love the integration of bonusly with Slack, that makes it really easy to send points. I also love how you can include gifs in the messages. Those always make me smile, whether I am giving them or receiving them. The options for spending your points are amazing, they have giftcards to places that I actually shop at. This is just a nice added bonus to the work that I do at my job.
