I like the ease of use as a Coordinator. My time spent scheduling has shrunk majorly, leaving me more time to focus on recruiting, on-boarding and training. The calendar makes it really easy for me to see what my week looks like. The sorting function help me isolate events to more easily see events. Even the color and font choices used in the apps is pleasing to the eye! The support from the Nowsta team has been amazing. They always respond within minutes through their direct messaging function and not only resolve the issue, but are a blast to work with. It's been a year that we have used the software and there have been endless improvements to functionality. They have expanded the system in many ways, allowing us to change our payroll functions and save money. Many times, we have seen areas for improvement, have sent the Nowsta team suggestions and then seen the tweaks in the app a few weeks later. The team at Nowsta is the ultimate example of continuous improvement. My staff really enjoys using the app and it has actually been a help in hiring as well. I mention it during the interview and I have seen candidates' faces light up with excitement that we schedule with such a convenient form of communication.

We are able to send newsletters that do not get flagged as junk. Through Emma, we can create campaigns when we have a lot of time on our hands or when our upcoming schedule is going to be tough and we can save these campaigns to be used later. We have been able to send emails to a large number of our customers and team members. We can also easily update our newsletters and emails. We have been able to remain in touch with our customers and staff. Emma is a great tool for launching email marketing campaigns. it is also more affordable as compared to many other marketing tools in the market. Moreover, it offers great customer service. The customer care team tries its best to resolve all of our queries as soon as possible. I recommend using this tool to everyone who is having a hard time in marketing.

"Never been so efficiently staffed!" What do you like best about Nowsta? We started using NOWSTA almost 2 years ago and it has made scheduling so much more efficient. We use it throughout our company - from servers and bartenders, to kitchen, warehouse, and office workers. The platform is user friendly for both schedulers and staff. The whole platform is easy for me to use as a Staffing Coordinator and make sure I am able to offer shifts to the right staff for the job. Because we are staffed more efficiently, I am able to rely less on temporary staffing companies, saving us money. We are able to use the system company-wide for many different types of laborers (as opposed to using multiple staffing platforms for service staff vs office staff or kitchen staff). This allows any manager to get an up-to-date report on staffing in their teams, departments, and company as a whole. Worker data is also easily accessible.

There is no way for staff members to put in extended periods of time off in the app (vacatin or PTO or what not)
The app works poorly on some older model cell phones
I haven't found a way to note when staff is on vacation to block those days so they are not accidentally added to the schedule
Lack of integration with google calendars if you're an admin."
