This has a nice integration with Windows File Explorer. When I'm not using it, I can use File Explorer normally and everything that was done with FileCenter is accessible. Being able to scan a document and insert it wherever its needed is fantastic. Append scan, insert, pre-pend are all great features. New scans with the the ability of using naming templates is even better.

The best feature is that you can click on a file and see a preview without opening the actual file. It saves tons of time when you're trying to find a file, but now you don't have to open each file you think it may be.

Overall it has been very positive. When I have had issues, support has been quick to fix. They have been open and responsive to product suggestions, and I feel as a customer that they value and appreciate us.

Our proposal team has been using this tool for almost two years. When the tool was called Tinderbox, we found it to be pretty good with minor functionality issues. Since it became Octiv, we've gotten into the habit of calling customer support 2 - 3 times per month. There seem to be more bugs than before. Asset pages get lost, user privileges get messed-up, and the whole tool seems slower and clunky.
