Sir Richard Branson

Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today.

Filevine reviews

We wanted a bespoke system that perfectly fit how our company conducts business. Other platforms attempted to shoehorn our workflow. Filevine is exactly how we wanted it to be and can grow with us as our company evolves.

- Kyle Dean Massey, Owner Elevate Baby

The first year, we saved over $60,000 in medical record requests after we transitioned from using a commercial records service to managing it in-house.

- Amber Pang Parra, Attorney for Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Law, & Veterans' Law Justinian & Associates PLLC

My attorney always says that having Filevine is just like having three other people working for you in the background at all times.

- Jason Brooks, Partner Leopold & Associates, PLLC

Aodocs reviews

Our company moved from Microsoft Office to Google for office productivity tools several years ago, so we had to support that move with a document management system that would allow us to store and manage the Google files within the context of a records management structure. Hence why we chose AODocs. AODocs lacks many features of a mature records management software, and their constant development/improvement process means there are frequent changes and releases, which we have to keep on top of.

- Jeremy S. Information Resources Officer

Allowed up to move more documents and files into Google Drive while providing the fine-grained security that users wanted.

- Scott Lawrence L. Director, IT Architecture

Google, while trying to lure businesses, fails to provide adequate admin level management tools. AODocs provides much of the missing functions to create permissions throughout Drive and provides useful tools to users to be able to work in native applications.

- Rob H. Director of Beverage & Brand Development

Pros & cons

Filevine

Pros
Mostly, we like that, since it is in the cloud, we can work with it no matter where we are which was a huge help in 2020 while working at home
Communication between employees with tasks that can be entered per client helps to keep on top of things
Everything is organized, which we like, so it streamlines the process
Filevine was by far the most superior out of all of the choices
I am very pleased with the Filevine
I love the fact that I can work on Filevine from literally anywhere in the world
When COVID-19 struck and we all had to work remotely for several months, this was a lifesaver."

Cons
Basically Filevine is the New England Patriots in their prime and TrialWorks is the Cleveland Browns at their worse
The layout was not streamlined, it could be difficult to go where you wanted to
There was a struggle in organization, costs were high, and it was difficult to have multiple users working
We used to be able to drag the photos from the page they were opened on
Now, we have to hit download and when another screen appears, we can drag the photo from there
Look also at how many users have to hire independent implementation consultants to make anything happen
The implementation timeline and costs are therefore very dishonest."

Aodocs

Pros
The support is fantastic when you need assistance
The tools for opening files in native format is extremely helpful to our employees
The management team was great helping us get started and supporting us through the transition
The transition team did a great job helping us move our files/folders into google drive/AODocs
It has been good, I would like to have learned faster
AODocs has helped us to get a clear overview of what metadata is important, and it is clearly the best part about it."

Cons
No Scalability and hard to implement in legacy platforms
It can be a bit tedious and confusing to get new users set up, especially if they aren't familiar with extensions, local clients, etc
Frustrating to have limitations of numbers of documents, numbers of files etc
Does not have a mobile app or is not designed to work on small screens
In so far, the offline/online synchronisation is today missing
An interestering feature would also be a dashboard with the vizualisation of the consulted files within the library."
