Document collection and management was great. They also have a great product roadmap and I got the impression the product is only going to get better as time goes on. It took a while, but we finally got a "collapse/expand all" feature for the documents. Very impressed with the customer service. Also, the UI is very clean and overall pleasant to use. The only feature I didn't pay for was the workflows, because I was already disappointed with the way that "tasks" were tracked, and didn't feel optimistic more money would make me more satisfied.

I like how easy it is to use, that's the main thing! I have never used it before but within 15 minutes I'd managed to schedule all my projects. I also like the budget tracking element - I have quite a complicated project with a less than 2% tolerance with the budget and Float has been invaluable helping me track that.

The most helpful aspect of Canopy is the ease in which clients are able to use the client portal and use the associated app. Even the clients that are technology challenged find the app easy to use. If they are happy using the portal, that makes my life much easier.

Pros
The interface has a great overview
Adding projects and tasks is intuitive and the colours make every tasks and project stand out
Logging time is really easy
We were not interested in a "log-per-minute" type of application but rather one where you can just log bigger blocks
Float helped us plan and log our time better.It is the simplest to use, extremely well organised and allows for really effective time management between the creative, editorial and customer service teams.It was fairly easy to keep track of my time once I learned how to use the program.
Cons
Planning a project is not super extensive
Float has some tools but the tools are a bit limited
The time tracking feature is the feature we use the most, it is a shame that is not available separately.At times, it tends to take too long to find available tasks.It wasn't easy to learn how to use the program

It appears that it is designed to offer more practice management functionality but it seems once I paid for it, the support to train how to use it disappeared
No phone calls, just pop up messages
Lack of charts showing all clients and the status of their case
This may be because I don't pay for all the bells and whistles
The company said I could try the product and cancel for up to 6 months
They now are refusing to cancel
Not the company you want to go with when you need something dependable
They're a tax company which makes it even more absurd that they mess around with deadlines."
