I personally am a massive fan of physical hard drives. I feel that in the event that technology fails (and maybe because I like to have something physical vs the proverbial cloud) I enjoy having the backup that I need while being to wrap my mind around the concept. the concept of the cloud is still difficult for me to full comprehend for some reason (lol).
