Speechify is absolutely brilliant. Growing up with dyslexia this would have made a big difference. I’m so glad to have it today.

iPlayText reviews

Really cool idea! The app makes it easy to search for Wikipedia articles and load them to be read. You can download more voices from the system settings app. It does take some getting used to the voice. Siri sounds great but for some reason Apple hasn’t made the same improvements to the accessibility voiceover.

- Trace412

Nice app. Would be perfect if we can be able to export voice data?

- Mr Outis

I am frequently multi-tasking. This app lets me do that. I copy and paste news articles while I respond to my emails and text messages.

Read&Write reviews

"Read & Write - Gets the job done" What do you like best about read&write? Read & Write is an add on you can use with Chrome. It allows you to have whatever is on your screen read aloud or to have whatever you're dictating typed out for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about read&write? Some of the features don't work well with certain operating systems. The updates are inconsistent/slow and some sites do not have full functionality. Several students have utilized this, but only some have found it helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is read&write solving and how is that benefiting you? We use this for students who struggle with reading and writing. When we were doing all school virtually, it came in handy quite a bit. For someone who cannot type or who has suffered an injury, the dictation component is helpful.

"Read & Write Help Software." What do you like best about read&write? I like read&write because it help improve your writing skills. This software is designed to help all even those with difficulties reading and writing. It will help those with learning disabilities as well. This soft wear reads to you and the big thing is that it has spell check as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about read&write? I dislike that read & Write it only gives you 30 days free. Read & Write is mainly only great for certain students and staff. I dislike the fact that this is very expensive software. This software also requires help from the support team. It is very rarely that you can self help with this program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering read&write: This good but expensive it will help those struggling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is read&write solving and how is that benefiting you? It has helped with many documents in the organization. It ha helped many disabled individuals within the organization overcome their fears and boost there confidence about their disability.

The extension allows educators to construct lessons that align with a TPACK design. Read&Write uses technology to create a change in pedagogy (students independently navigating texts instead of with intense teacher support) and allows much more accessible content. The extension modifies lessons according to the SAMR model because students are able to work independently on assignments instead of small groups with intensive teacher support.
